    Quantity Surveyor


    Job Summary

    • To maintain effective and efficient Cost management of all Construction Projects of RAINOIL LIMITED in line with her objectives.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Interpretation of engineering drawings
    • Prepare and review Bills of Quantities and Estimates of construction projects
    • Draws up bids for tenders and contracts

    Fleet Manager

    Job Summary

    • To manage the day-to-day Fleet and Administrative operations.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Set up maintenance schedules to ensure each truck is kept in top condition and monitor them
    • Implement and monitor a preventative maintenance program to assure cost effective maintenance and a scheduled maintenance program to provide maintenance by manufacturer’s specifications.
    • Work closely with the maintenance team to find ways to reduce downtime due to repairs or lack of routine maintenance
    • Maintain a complete inventory system through recording of all expenditures and income of each truck, maintenance equipment, fuel, repair parts, supplies, etc.
    • Check all repair work performed in shop for completeness. This includes physical inspections and road tests before vehicle is turned back to the fleet
    • Ensure compliance of the company with government regulations that have to do with the transportation industry
    • Take preventive measures to ensure the safety of trucks and drivers.
    • Ensuring that all truck are properly registered; track their registration expiry and carry out inspection on regular basis
    • Monitor fuel purchases by administering fuel vouchers / funds for all truck to their respective drivers and ensuring compliance by regular visits to partner fuel stations.
    • Handling of all fleet customer issues and services
    • Monitoring and maintaining office equipment, inventory supplies; orders replacement supplies as needed

    Qualifications Required

    • Project Management certification is an added advantage

    Depot Sales Officer

    Qualification Required

    • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Accounting or any finance related course.
    • Relevant professional certifications e.g. Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) or Association of Certified and Chartered Accountants (ACCA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

    Desirable:

    Workshop Manager

    • Ensures sites have the proper number of trucks that meet the needs of the business
    • Regularly reports the progress on each job and quickly communicates delays or concerns with the Head of Logistics
    • Reports on manpower overruns or shortfalls
    • Acts as a technical adviser on key projects and other areas of the business as requested
    • Identifies staff that require on-going training and liaises with Human Capital to facilitate their enrollment on relevant development interventions 
    • Supports apprentices and semi-skilled staff and facilitates their acquisition of appropriate technical skill
    • Ensures the availability of resources for the technicians to effectively carry out their jobs
    • Participates in the selection of new technicians
    • Attends to any issues or queries escalated by the technicians

    Electrician

    Senior Laboratory Technician

    • The Laboratory Technician will be responsible to define the laboratory chemicals and consumables (for Tow and for SITE).

    • Follow of sampling points installation v/s typical rules.
    • He will be responsible for the follow up of laboratory facility and chemical injection systems design, construction and commissioning together with production team.
    • He will be responsible for the follow up of proper chemical treatment by CONTRACTOR on the facility during interim operation until hand over to field operation team.
    • He will be responsible for the follow up of chemical injections and ensure that chemical treatment philosophy is applied by field operation team after hand over.
    • He will be responsible to conduct all necessary laboratory analysis to ensure a proper operation of the plant and monitor process and environmental performance after first oil
    • The job holder will assist the Head of Unit, with focus on chemical treatment and laboratory analysis.

    Qualifications Required

    • Minimum of B.Sc Chemistry, B. Eng in Chemical/Processing Engineer, B.Sc Science Lab Tech
    • Fluent in English.
    • Not more than 5 years’ experience in an area of specialisation; with experience working with others
    • Experience using laboratory equipment, apparatus, Health and Safety Management.
