    Corporate (B2B) Sales Manager (Generators)

    Our client, a leading group with business operations across various sectors of the Nigerian economy, is looking to hire a Corporate (B2B) Sales Manager to lead their expansion plan for the sales of its industrial diesel generators.


    Responsibilities:

    • Achieve set financial targets through the sale of the organisation's Industrial Generators.
    • Methodical planning and seeking out of new potential customers for the products.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key contacts within government, blue chip organisations, institutions, large and small electrical contractors, and medium to large size businesses, etc., for business purposes. 
    • Regular contact with clients, demonstrating the company’s ability to deliver within agreed timelines. 
    • Preparation of a suitable, competitive and technically acceptable offer.
    • Monitoring of the sales tender process with the client to ensure an order.
    • Monitoring competition and proposing new ideas for business growth.

    Additional Duties:

    • Identifying potential corporate clients/customers and making contact.
    • Visiting and quoting customers
    • Regular general sales reporting to Line Manager

    Experience / Qualifications / Essential Requirements:

    • BSc, B.Eng, B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or related field
    • 5+ years of experience in a similar position.
    • Technical knowledge of generating sets and other related heavy-duty electrical/mechanical equipment
    • Experience in the sales of Capital Equipment, preferably electrical or mechanical, to government agencies, the industrial, commercial and health sectors
    • A valid Driver’s Licence
    • Computer literate with general understanding and ability to use Microsoft Office packages
    • Effective communicator
    • Energetic Sales Professional with a Can Do Attitude
    • A good communicator
    • Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.

    Document Controller

    Summary

    The Document Controller will be responsible for managing and overseeing technical-related documents and information across the organisation. S/he will ensure that appropriate documents are created and signed, and that all data is accurate, documents are stored and backed up in strict accordance to laid down retention policies and procedures.

    Responsibilities

    • Organize and archive, maintain documents, fulfill document retrieval requests and train employees,
    • Ensure that the documents are kept in the right location and are accessible to the appropriate internal persons.
    • Follow international standard for numbering documents and input technical revisions; perform compliance checking, filing and organizing; documentation auditing, and reporting on document status and distributing documents as required.
    • Keep track of important project documents like project plans, vendor contracts and drawings; creating reports for construction managers; keeping documentation safe and backed up; and performing data entry tasks when project documents need updates.
    • Ensure proper adherence to company Policy and Procedure and international standards concerning management, archiving and retention of company documents, records and data.
    • Use EDMS (electronic document management systems) software to track digital documents.

    Experience / Qualifications / Essential Requirements:

    • BSc/HND in an Engineering or highly numerate science-related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the Engineering Services or Oil & Gas industry.
    • Previous experience in software applications like Microsoft Office, construction management applications and document management systems.
    • Ability to handle documentation related to multi-discipline engineering, construction, QA/QC, certification, and vendor technical and commercial documentation and records. 
    • Hands on experience in Engineering Data Management System (EDMS) or similar software being utilized in project execution documentation and communication systems.
    • Proficient in Computer Software Programs like spreadsheets, data base and word processing.
    • Ability to work on strict to deadlines, and ensuring that all departments are following the same procedures with regards to documents.
    • Good interpersonal skills, ability to work in one or more teams.
    • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
    • Good organisation skills, flexibility and proactiveness.
    • Good spoken and written English.
    • Relevant knowledge of Document Numbering System and archiving.
    • Previous experience in the providing a single uniform system for use organization-wide.
    • Previous experience in the facilitation of intuitive information or document recognition, identification, and retrievals.
    • Previous experience in the provision of a common site-wide methodology incorporating built-in intelligence to associate subject areas or functions to accommodate information and records management.

    PS: Candidates with relevant training and/or professional certification in the field of Document Control will have an advantage.
