Medical Officer at Paelon Memorial Hospital

DUTIES

• To assist in ensuring that the patient gets the best possible treatment the first time every time
• To act as the attending Consultant’s Clinical assistant
• To assist in Surgeries and minor procedures
• To run an Out-patient department clinic
• To take samples for necessary/ ordered blood investigations, carry out minor side laboratory tests BV/ Rapid tests investigations
• To review patients on admission
• To supervise the nurses and guide as necessary
• To put up Intravenous access for Patients on admission.
• Ensure appropriate & timely documentation of Patients’ data and proper filling of Patients’ test results.
• Ensure adequate patient flow
• Ensure adequate continuity of care
• Ensure in- patient comfort
• To write medical reports
• Assist with any other task as required by the Medical Director
