PhD in Biblical Studies (OT and NT specialization) with a background in biblical theology. Firm grasp of biblical and cognate languages is required.
This is a full-time teaching position which involves research, thesis supervision and mentoring of students at the graduate and undergraduate levels
Qualifications:
- The minimum qualification for each of these positions is a PhD from the relevant field from a recognized institution. Competence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels is required.
- The applicant must be a committed Christian with evidence of spiritual birth, growth and maturity. Applicant must have a strong church commitment and must possess demonstrable skills in oral and written communications. In addition, he or she must have an observable dedication to the ministry of teaching; enthusiasm for professional engagement with students in and out of the classroom; and ability to work in teams.
- A mastery of the use of technology for instructional purposes will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with ABD (particularly those at the final stages of dissertation writing) could also apply.
