Job description
Identify and carry out marketing and sales activities, so as to maintain and develop sales of the company’s range of Crop Protection and Public Health Products to major customers and farmers, in accordance with agreed business plans.
Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems.
Develop ideas and create offers for sales and marketing to major customers/ accounts
Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys.
Cultivate healthy collaborative network with research institutes for sustainable relationships
Identify New opportunities for products within the company’s portfolio
Requirements
Degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Economics or a similar qualification
Minimum 5 years cognate experience in Management position in Crop protection industry
Sound Knowledge of the Nigeria Crop Protection and Non Crop Industry, Nigeria nation and her agro-eco system
English (a second European will be an added advantage)
Strong commercial and market orientation (experience in sales and process organization)
Excellent Customer Relationships and customer focus
Strategic thinking and strong agronomist know how in an international environment
Ability to act decisively and grasp concepts easily
ICT literacy
Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively and solve problems
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Be willing to work flexibly in a multi-cultural department / environment
This is a one year renewable contract position
