    Mason (Contract)

    Job Summary

    • A mason with Hilton Hotels and Resorts maintains the guestrooms, public space and back of the house areas in good repair to ensure an attractive and well-maintained hotel
    • As an Engineering Team Member, you would also be called when needed to multi-task  in other sections.

    What will I be Doing?
    A Mason will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

    • Inspect guestrooms, public space and back of house areas to repair, touch up or replace outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, furniture, wall covering, caulking, grouting or other miscellaneous repairs..
    • Detailed record keeping in English is required for logs and inspection sheets.
    • Multi-task in other sections when required.

    What are we looking for?

    • A Mason serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Hotel, serving our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow.
    • Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
    • 2 years of related work experience.
    • Knowledge of all maintenance trades, including basic painting, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
    • Basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
    • Skill in the use of related tools (including both hand and electric tools).
    • English language communication skills in order to communicate with customers and co-workers fully understand job assignments and follow manufacturer instructions.
    • Ability to multi task.

    Kitchen Technician (Contract)

    Job Summary

    • A Kitchen technician with Hilton Hotels and Resorts  maintains and performs preventative maintenance on all kitchen equipment
    • As an Engineering Team Member, you would also be called when needed to multi-task  in other sections.

    What will I be Doing?
    A Kitchen Technician will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

    • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment.
    • Perform equipment repairs.
    • Perform visual equipment evaluations.
    • Enter repairs in Repair Log book.
    • Multi task in other sections when required.

    What are we looking for?

    • A Kitchen Technician serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Hotel, serving our Guests and working with other Team Members

    To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follows:

    • HND/Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
    • 2 years of related work experience.
    • Electrical trouble shooting, wiring, schematic reading, plumbing, mechanical trouble shooting and repair skills.
    • Ability to maintain kitchen equipment parts inventory.
