Details:

A furniture and Interior Design Company located in Lagos, seeks to employ the service of a Quality Control Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure Products meet quality and efficiency standards set by the company.
• Ensure that items produced must be in line with the clients specification.
• Ensure delivery of produce within agreed timeline.
• Ensure reduction of wastage material during production.
• Ensure all equipments are safely operated efficiently and effectively during operations.
• Control and direct all QC  resources, operations and facilities in order to adhere  to project programmes.
• To manage and direct a team of skilled, semi skilled and technically based individuals through sound personnel practices.
• Manage and control all quality control activities in accordance with identified Quality assurance standards, company procedures, client specifications and contract requirements.
• To monitor and report quality control progress, notifying any predicted shortfall or discrepancies against timescale and budgets to the CE.

The candidate should posses;

• A Bsc or Post Graduate degree in a relevant course.
• At least 5years experience in the same capacity.
• Excellent written and oral communication skill.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the company's tax and statutory audit issues to avoid regulatory infractions
• Coordinate budgetary process for the company and prepare operational budget.
• Timely generation of profitability report on all contracts and project.
• Ensure compliance with existing company financial policies and procedures, identifying and proposing modification
• Ensure payments are sent to the appropriate banks and we don't negatively affect our credit ratings with our bank and creditors.
• Ensure accurate and timely analysis to management on costing of contracts and projects.
• Plan available cash at the disposal of the company to avoid cash shortage.

The candidate should posses:

• A Bsc or Post Graduate degree in Accounting

• At least 7 years experience in the same capacity.
• A professional certification in Accounting. (ICAN, ACCA)
• Excellent written and oral communication skill.

Responsibilities:

• Interprete client brief and break up project into actionable steps.
• Document project plan, identifying timeliness and responsibilities.
• Identify need for sub-contractor and all other third parties and liaise accordingly.
• Preparation and Management of project budget in a cost efficient manner.
• Coordinate negotiation of projects with prospective clients identifying the key elements critical success factors.
• Monitor project and report progress to managementon a regular basis as defined in the project scope.
• Signoff before production commences, mid-production and on date of delivery to ensure the client request is met 100% and preventing rework.
• Finalize project estimate with finance, prepare costing/quotation for approval by management and coordinate the execution process to the satisfaction of the client.
• Meet with clients , debriefing and following through on the submission as per their requirements and accordingly materialize the deal and bill for consulting accordingly.
• Prepare and manage the budget for each project .

The candidate should posses;

• A Bsc or Post Graduate degree in Architecture.
• At least 7 years experience in the same capacity.
• A professional certification in Architecture. (An added advantage)
• Excellent written and oral communication skill.
