    Healthcare IT Sales/ Service Engineer

    Details:

    Purpose:

    • To strengthen current resources for Healthcare IT solutions for Sales & Service
    • To better organize for contingency and distribution of work
    • To give impetus for sales of Healthcare IT solutions

    Roles and Job Description:

    The role will perform the following functions:

    • The quality delivery of all functions related to pre sales, Sales, implementation and support for the healthcare IT solutions, ensuring to meet company and customer satisfaction targets
    • Actively promote sales of PACS & RIS and other healthcare IT solutions
    • Develop and implement agreed up on sales strategies
    • Responsible for planning and preparing for the implementations and support of the healthcare IT solutions in a timely and professional manner as per the set standards and goals
    • Independently communicating and liaising with suppliers and clients to generate and close sales leads.
    • Responsible for both HW and SW aspects of the solutions for architecture, implantation and support functions
    • Coordinating between the HW and SW providers to achieve the optimum solutions for meeting desired functions and features
    • Responsible for management, maintenance and architecture of storage, virtualized environment, servers, network devices, protocols and productivity tools
    • Monitor systems and identify performance issues proactively
    • Work within strict time frames for implementation and resolution and elevate incidents within defined timeframes
    • Test all changes to networks, hardware, software and hosted applications
    • Maintain the necessary project and solution plans and documentation of all system builds and modifications
    • Build trust and establish authentic relationships through own behaviors and actions to enhance the relationship with external and internal customers
    • Acts as an effective spokesperson in dealing with external stakeholders (IT associations, 3rd party suppliers)
    • Liaising with customers and suppliers for proposing the healthcare IT solutions as per the requirements
    • Studying workflows and suggesting improvements to achieve operational efficiency for the clients in consultation with the suppliers

    The Person Requirements:

    The minimum requirements for a suitable candidate to fit this role are highlighted below;

    Education: Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in a related IT discipline

    Experience: Minimum of 5 years dedicated experience related to IT  solutions sale and  technical implementations and support

    Skills and Hands on Experience

    • Certifications in Microsoft/Cisco/ITIL is an advantage
    • Experience with desktop and server operating systems i.e. Windows and Cisco Network Environment
    • Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and SQL Server
    • Ability to gather relevant information systematically to troubleshoot and resolve issues
    • Ability to work in a team and independent environment
    • Good analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
    • Strong virtualization experience using Hyper-V, VM Ware and Citrix Xen App
    • Experience working with NetApp, SAN, NAS storages
    • Ability to maintain good working relationships with third party service providers and vendors
    • Broad knowledge of technical, developmental, application, business and current trends in IT
    • Highly mature with strong interpersonal skills
