Responsibilities: •Book-keeping of cash and bank payments using SUN Accounting software •Supervision of accountant and cashier in Abuja •Technical supervision of our accountants in Port Harcourt and Kano offices •Reconcile bank books on a regular basis •prepare monthly consolidation and closing of accounts Estimate cash requirements for the month •Technical support for budget elaboration and monitoring Ensure respect of financial procedures and guidelines •Audit supporting documents for all expenditures •Audit book entries done by colleagues •Initiate bank payments according to procedures
Required Qualifications: •Degree in Accounting or Business Administration 2 years work experience in a similar field •Good command of written and spoken English •Proficient computer skills. especially MS Excel
Desired Personal Skills: •Strongly motivated by humanitarian work •Team leadership and good communication skills •Ability to work independently and with a sense of initiative Methodical and rigorous •Strong sense of responsibility and adaptability, able to work over time when needed
