    Business Development Executive - Learning and Development

    Description:

    We are a Learning and Development firm located on the mainland seeking to recruit a Business Development Executive to drive our training programmes.

    The post holder will:

    • Demonstrate a passion for learning and continually develops and applies knowledge of pedagogical principles and facilitation skills to best meet learners’ needs.
    • Able to position and deliver impactful learning programmes that leverage appropriate and innovative technology, learning techniques, and pedagogy to enhance individuals’ knowledge and performance.
    • Demonstrate selling skills to understand and meet the customer’s needs and provide appropriate learning solutions.
    • Identify and attend industry functions, (association events and conferences) and provide feedback/information on market and creative trends
    • Remain current on and anticipates changes in product knowledge, marketplace conditions, and client practices to deliver the most effective learning interventions
    • Ensure all content and materials fully comply with organisation’s guidelines and is approved through appropriate channels
    • Understands and adapts to the changing knowledge ecosystem and adjusts learning solutions accordingly.
    • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging network to build robust pipeline of opportunities.
    • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
    • Work with entire L&D team to develop proposals that address client needs, concerns, and objectives.
    • Use knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the organisation’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
    • Prepare and submit weekly progress/sales reports to Director L&D ensuring data is accurate and coherent

    Requirements:

    • First Degree or equivalent in Sales and Marketing or other social sciences
    • 5-7 years’ work experience in a Business Development/Sale& marketing function within the Learning and Development space
    • Track record of exceeding targets
    • Strong listening and presentation skills
    • Persuasion and negotiation skills
    • Analytical
    • Excellent verbal and written communication
