The Business Development and Research role reports to the Vice President and will support the overall business development strategy for the company from opportunity identification to feasibility testing, business planning, bid submission, and project execution. This role will also be responsible for creating, reviewing and re-designing products as well as maximizing the revenue streams of company’s product offerings.

Key Responsibilities

You will responsible for the following:

• Planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets
• Writing investment winning proposals
• Identifying feasible investment opportunities
• Identifying, preparing submissions for and winning Bids and or Contracts.
• Identifying emerging business trends based on verifiable data and analysis of same resulting in strategy recommendations to senior management for product development;
• Monitoring and forecasting marketing and sales trends
• Measuring the effectiveness of marketing programs and strategies
• Devising and evaluating methods for collecting data, such as surveys, questionnaires, and opinion polls using requisite technology
• Gathering data about consumers, competitors, and market conditions
• Analyse data using statistical software
• Converting complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and written reports which can be applied to decision making;

Job Description: We are currently looking to hire a creative director with up-to-date knowledge of industry software to interpret our needs and to design solutions with high visual impact that communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers.

Responsibilities:

• Think creatively and use innovation to produce interactive designs/ideas and concepts.
• Prioritizes, manages & accomplishes multiple projects simultaneously
• Create visual versions of brands, messages, and communications
• Deliver creative and innovative ideas for print, web and interactive presentations
• Designing Social Media Creatives for company’s Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other platforms
• Develop concepts, designs, layouts and info-graphics for services and solutions, marketing campaigns, prints and media platforms
• Interpret and transform concepts and ideas into descriptive visual materials in varying formats
• Work with team in outlining opportunities and ensuring a pro-active and innovative approach to the marketing of the Firm
• Develop graphics and visual images for product illustrations, assimilations, logo’s and websites.
• Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as InDesign, FreeHand, Illustrator, Photoshop, Corel drawl, Acrobat, Director, Dreamweaver and Flash etc.

Requirements:

• The desired candidate should be a graduate (OND/HND/ B.Sc).
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• A portfolio with a breadth of work exhibiting strong aesthetic and design skills
• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and able to manage priorities well
• Proven ability to work independently, identify and communicate creative solutions to challenges
• Working with a range of media, including computer-aided design (CAD), and keeping up to date with emerging technologies/industry software
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio

Key Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, PowerPoint & Keynote
• Artistry and creativity, with plenty of initiative, passion, and enthusiasm for design
• Understanding of corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• UI/UX experience is an added advantage
