    Sales Coordinator

    General Summary

    •     Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales through strategic planning, deployment and management of sales personnel.
    •     Identifies objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long-term sales.

    Core Functions:

    •     Collaborates with the Regional Sales Coordinator in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals for the company.
    •     Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales prices and discounts in consultation with Regional Sales Coordinator.
    •     Establishes and manages effective programs to compensate, coach, appraise and train sales personnel.

    Details of Function:

    •     Plan, organize, direct & control Sales Supervisors to ensure sales targets are met.
    •     Establishing sales objectives by forecasting & setting up targets for the assigned region.
    •     Assign district sales targets to the sales supervisors.
    •     Developing field sales action plan.
    •     Monitor sales teams' performance on a daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly basis.
    •     Review entire inventory & ensure the required inventory is available.
    •     Escalate all customers' complaints and ensure customer satisfaction by asking for feedback.
    •     Formulate all sales policies, practices and procedures.
    •     Collaborate with sales supervisors to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.

    Reporting: Reports directly to Regional Sales Coordinator.

    Qualifications

    •     A sales coordinator should have a university degree/HND in marketing or related studies as well as at least 3-4 years of sales experience with minimum 2 years of team handling experience.
    •     Willing to travel within the assigned territory.
    •     Strong knowledge of market.
    •     Able to operate in fast paced changing market & can handle the competition
    •     Should have a go getting attitude & can meet deadlines.
    •     Should have problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend.
    •     Should know how to motivate, retain & lead the sales team.
    •     Should have very good communication skills both verbal and written.
    •     Should be able to negotiate & communicate with the clients on high volume deals.

    Sales Supervisor

    General Summary
    Manages sales of the company's products and services within a defined geographic area as assigned by the sales coordinator.

    Details of Functions:

    •     Manage an assigned geographic sales area or product line to maximize sales and meet corporate objectives.
    •     Supervise and assign sales targets to the sales executives and ensure set targets are met.
    •     Conduct/Monitor weekly sales assessment and ensure proper reporting.
    •     Represent the company at events and demonstrations.
    •     Provide weekly results assessments of sales staff’s productivity.

    Reporting: Reports directly to Sales Coordinator.

    Qualifications

    •     A sales supervisor should have at least an HND in marketing with minimum of 2 years' experience in marketing or an OND with minimum of 3 years experience.
    •     Should possess team handling skills.
    •     Should have a go getting attitude & can meet tight deadlines.
    •     Should have problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend.
    •     Should know how to motivate, retain & lead the sales team.
    •     Should have very good communication skills.
    •     Should be able to negotiate & communicate with the clients on high volume deals.
    •     Should be able to handle both direct & channel sales for the products.
    •     Willing to travel within the assigned territory.
    •     Strong knowledge of market.

    Sales Executive

    General Summary
    A Sales Executive is saddled with the responsibility of handling the sales of the company's products. Company's customers may include businesses, governmental organisations and individuals. Sales executives approach potential customers with the aim of winning new businesses, as well as maintaining good relationships with clients.

    Core Functions:

    •     Ensure sales targets are met.
    •     Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails;
    •     Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business;
    •     Gathering market and customer information to assist the management in taking the appropriate business decisions.
    •     Ensuring existing customers do not run out of stock.
    •     Recording sales and other information and reporting such sales to the sales supervisor.
    •     Gaining a clear understanding of customers' requirements.
    •     Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations;
    •     Attending team meetings and contributing effectively to sales decisions.

    Reporting: Reports directly to Sales Supervisor.

    Qualifications

    •     A minimum of OND in any subject with at least 1 year sales related working experience.
    •     Note: OND one (1) year industrial attachment is highly acceptable.
    •     Possession of a laptop or tablet would be an added advantage.
    •     Should demonstrate an excellent usage of the internet.
    •     Should be an outspoken person.
    •     Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
