Job brief

We are looking for a travel agent, who is passionate about traveling. You will manage travel requirements made for business or holiday and you will provide tourism related services and package tours on behalf of our suppliers. The goal is to keep our clients satisfied and loyal for future services.

We are a corporate travel agency that provides businesses of all sizes with full-service travel coordination. We book reservations for hotels, flights; assist in visa processing, students’ study abroad enrolment and other services and help business owners and executives choose travel destinations for retreats and other events. We’re looking for an experienced Travel Agent to join our team and become a crucial element in our success. The ideal candidate will have travel experience & can be able to use Amadeus GDS effectively. We offer some on-the-job training, but we need someone who can start performing on day one.

Responsibilities

• Make reservations for planned travel, including hotels and airlines
• Follow up with clients about travel plans and make adjustments as needed
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and other issues as they come up
• Advise current and prospective clients about destination options, including pros and cons of each
• Plan and sell transportations, accommodations, insurance and other travel services
• Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them appropriate destination, modes of transportations, travel dates, costs and accommodations

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a travel agent
• Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems, GDS systems and e-travelling
• Fluency in English; multilingualism is a plus
• Strong sales skills and commercial awareness
• Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively
• Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends
• Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant field
• Personal travel experience will be considered an advantage
• Excellent customers service is a must
• Skills in travel booking engine(GDS) is a must
