    Group Head, Finance & Accounts

    Summary

    The Group Head of Finance & Accounts is responsible for overall management of financial risks in the organization.

    Responsibilities

    • Defining business questions to be answered with appropriate analytics models, as well as identifying and preparing the relevant information/data sources for analysis.
    • Drive the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risks
    • Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems
    • Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel management accountants, internal auditors etc.
    • Oversee all audit and internal control operations
    • Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis
    • Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives
    • Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines
    • Responsible for general ledger financial reporting including preparing financial statements and related monthly financial reports
    • Manage the monthly financial closing process including review of all accounting reconciliations
    • Perform consolidation of all legal entities and preparing consolidated balance sheet, income statements and statement of cash flows

    Oversee Company’s accounts receivable and related collection processes and credit management

    Qualification and Experience:

    • BA / BSc in Economics, Engineering, Law, Accounting or Finance
    • MBA, Masters or Post Graduate degree in Finance or Economics
    • Must be a Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA)
    • 10+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles

    • Ability to analyse situations and take corrective actions.
    • Excellent quality, attention to detail, & organisational skills.
    • Excellent numeric skills.
