    Night Operations Manager

    Job Description

    • This position is responsible for all night operations. Providing and implementing developed strategies and services.
    • The Night Operations Manager works very close with managers of the different departments.
    • Successful candidate will accounts for needs of owners, employees and guests.

    Responsibilities

    • Plans activities and allocate responsibilities to achieve the most efficient operating model at night
    • Manage budgets/expenses, analyze and interpret financial information and monitor sales profits.
    • Communicate with guests when appropriate by welcoming them, address their complaints, find solutions to problems, offer information, etc at night.
    • Deal with maintenance issues, shortages in staff or equipment renovation, etc.
    • Oversee the operations functions at night
    • Ensure full compliance to operating controls, SOP’s, policies, procedures and service standards.
    • Manage on-going profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.
    • Closely monitor the hotel business report on a daily basis and take decisions accordingly.
    • Maximizing apartment yield and revenue through innovative sales practices and yield management programs.
    • Prepare a monthly financial reporting for the owners and stake holders.
    • Responsible for corporate client handling and take part in new client acquisition along with the sales team whenever required.
    • Provide effective leadership to  team members.
    • Lead in all aspects of business planning.
    • Respond to audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved.
    • Be accountable for responsibilities of department heads and take ownership of all guest complaints at night.

    Competency/Skill/Requirements

    • Minimum of a B.Sc in Tourism, Business Administration or other related courses.
    • About 5-10 years in the hospitality industry,as a General Manager or other related managerial positions.
    • Proven experience with clear track record of managing a hotel/service apartment.
    • Must possess outstanding management skills and extensive hands-on experience.
    • Should possess apt understanding of hospitality management best practices and relevant laws and guidelines.
    • Should possess an outstanding leadership skill and pays a great attention to details,
    • Working knowledge of MS office; knowledge of hotel management software is an advantage.
    • Excellent customer service skills as well as a strong business mindset.
    • Demonstrable aptitude in decision-making and problem solving.
    • Must be reliable with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
    • Should have a good knowledge of sales and Marketing.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

    Hotel Customer Service Relationship Manager

    Job Description

    • Trains, cross –trains, and retrains all front office personnel.
    • Participates in the selection of front office personnel.
    • Evaluates the job performance if each front office employee.
    • Maintains working relationships and communicates with all departments.
    • Verifies that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated.
    • Resolves guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously.
    • Updates group information. Maintains, monitors, and prepares group requirements. Relays information to appropriate personnel.
    • Reviews and completes credit limit report.
    • Works within the allocated budget for the front office.
    • Receives information from the previous shift manager and passes on pertinent details to the oncoming manager.
    • Checks cashiers in and out and verifies banks and deposits at the end of each shift.
    • Enforces all cash-handling, check-cashing, and credit policies.
    • Upholds the apartment’s commitment to hospitality.
    • Prepare performance reports related to front office.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc in similar or related field.
    • Minimum of 4-5years experience in the hospitality industry.

    Facilities Manager

    Details:

    Job Description

    • Conducting routine preventive maintenance.
    • Responsible for scheduling regular inspections of electrical equipment
    • Liaising with Housekeeping to co-ordinate and prioritize maintenance activities for apartments and public areas.
    • Develop system and procedure to ensure the health and safety of guests, team members, machinery and property
    • Monitor the apartments’ consumption of fuels
    • Monitor engineering installation
    • Supervise the apartment facilities functions
    • Carry out engineering and maintenance works as required
    • Periodic inspection and verification of tasks assigned to team members.
    • Ensure proper sign off of tasks given after careful inspection.
    • Assists in the supervision of all engineering activities.
    • Trains members of the department as appropriate in new processes and procedures while ensuring compliance.
    • Be able to immediately recognize system performance deficiencies and respond to operational and emergency situations.
    • Assists the Chief Facilities Manager.

    Requirements

    • Engineering degree from any reputable university
    • Minimum of 5 years working experience and minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
    • Experience in a similar work environment
    • Project management experience.
    • Managerial experience and strong interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and building automation systems. 
    • Knowledge of related software would be an added advantage
