    Maintenance Manager

    Job Summary

    Hotel Maintenance Manager to take care of the hotel infrastructure (e.g. buildings, electricity.) You will manage maintenance personnel and plan various renovation and repair projects.
    You should be organized and proactive. Familiar with electrical, plumbing systems is essential. If you re also committed to meeting health and safety standards, we’d like to meet you.
    Your aim is to ensure the hotel premises are safe and functional for guests and employees alike.

    Responsibilities

    • Inspect hotel regularly to ensure it meets safety standards

    IT Officer

    Job Summary
    As an IT Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day support of all IT systems, business systems, office systems, computer networks, and telephony systems throughout the hotel / resort.
    Also maintains inventory of all hardware products and software licenses, and reviews maintenance agreements.
     
    IT / Systems Manager Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Responds courteously and efficiently to queries and problems from guests and system users.
    • Ensures cleanliness of all data equipment and computer rooms.
    • He / She must be a self-starter, alert, energetic, responsible and flexible.
    • Responsible for smooth functioning and co-ordination of vendors for Guest Internet, Property Management Systems - PMS, Point of Sale - POS, IPTV, Telephony systems and other software vendors.
    • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
    • Responsible for overseeing and handling network configuration, Servers, Workstations, Networking equipment, PABX, email accounts, and also support for the underlying server/desktop infrastructure.
    • Should be capable of doing Root Cause Analysis on a problem.
    • Must know the Network fundamentals, general network setup and device configuration.
    • Good knowledge of server hardware, Disk storage technology, I/O devices.
    • Skilled in usage of system level profiling tools and network monitoring systems to aid in application performance profiling (iostat, Nagios).
    • Knowledge of network infrastructure, including CAT5/6 cabling, wireless networks, network switches, WAN/LAN, domain controller, Active Directory, firewall and VPN applications.
    • Background in highly available systems and image capture/management systems.
    • Extensive knowledge on Active Directory, Management and Implementations.
    • Prepare & Implement Preventive Maintenance Schedule for all IT hardware & Software.
    • Manage leadership in the establishment of project scope, technical strategy , cost, budget and staff support requirements with new IT initiatives.
    • Prepare Policy & Procedures for the IT Department and for the user department.
    • Managing Disaster Recovery Process and ensuring regular daily backup is taken.
    • Anti virus setup and day to day support.
    • Able to plan, assign and take the report from the IT team.
    • Identifies and implements solutions to user challenges and concerns associated with the use of personal computer equipment.
    • Ensure that policies and procedure relating to PCI compliance are updated.
    • Maintains a system error / progress log book and deals with reported problems.
    • Responsible to ensure that IT Audit points are implemented as per relevant Standard operating Procedures.
    • Monitors and maintains proper inventory of hardware and software license.
    • Is aware of IT Security Policies and ensures implementation through regular staff training.
    • Keep updated with latest hotel technology and security risks on a regular basis.
    • Able to perform other IT or Systems related task assigned by the management.

    Laundry Supervisor

    Job Summary:

    As a Laundry Supervisor you are responsible to oversee the team of laundry attendants towards achieving the operational objectives while ensuring that the hotels operational standards are met.
    Also ensure quality controls are in place and manage customer service inquiries.
     
    Laundry Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manage overall daily operations of the Laundry Room.
    • Ensure quality controls are in place for all linen processes, rejecting any exceptions.
    • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the linen area.
    • Oversee the loading of carts and place accurately as requested.
    • Oversee in getting filled linen carts to designated areas.
    • Ensure linen and laundry supplies are ordered and controlled in line with Business and Events.
    • Ensure a clean and tidy linen room at all times and report to the management if any items have been damaged (linen as well as uniforms).
    • Report to Laundry Manager in case any uniforms need to be discarded or replenished.
    • Ensure that linen and uniforms are properly stored and recorded.
    • Ensure that the proper procedure is followed when linen or uniform needs to be discarded.
    • Ensure that all uniforms are ready for special events as well as for any seasonal events.
    • Ensure proper loading and unloading of dryers, and also setting proper temperature for different items that require drying.
    • Receive records and oversee sorting of clean uniform from laundry and arrange them properly on the shelves and racks.
    • Ensure team members adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations.
    • Keep and update the Laundry / linen productivity report on a daily basis.
    • Take linen which is spotted out and place separate for re-washing or special treatments.
    • Any linen which is torn is placed separately and returned to the Linen room for repair.
    • Keeps linen for all different departments separate.
    • Issue linen to Food & Beverage outlets as per requisitions.
    • Issue uniform to all employees and maintain uniform records.
    • Oversee the issuing of linen via hotels requisition system.
    • Check all uniform for any loose buttons and hems and give to the tailor for mending.
    • Attends and participates in in-service education classes, on-the-job training programs, etc.
    • Schedules preventative maintenance of laundry equipment and co-ordinate with the engineering department for any maintenance issues.
    • Recommends equipment, linen and chemical purchasing needs to Department Head in budget preparation.
    • Assists in standardizing the method in which laundry tasks will be performed.
    • Makes recommendations to the Executive Housekeeper.
    • Manage customer service issues quickly and effectively.
    • Responsible for proper running of equipment and proper amounts of chemicals.
    • Train, develop, and appraise the laundry team and Carry out stock takes as per management policy.
    • Assists in the recruitment and selection of laundry personnel.
    • Assigns schedules and duties to laundry staff as per business needs.
    • Assists in determining staffing requirements necessary to meet the Laundry Department's needs.
    • Performs other duties as assigned and able to carry out any other reasonable task set by the hotels management.
