    Data Officer (KS3 & KS4)


    Job Overview

    • The candidate will be responsible for development/ creation of detailed data analysis and management within the school.
    • This role is responsible for the maintenance of student’s data on the school’s management information systems and supporting the Vice Principal in interpreting data.

    Key Roles and Responsibilities
    Academics:

    • Keep up-to-date all relevant data on students on the school database.
    • Ensure year 7-11 students have references completed by relevant member of staff for all schools/ college/sixth form applications and to keep appropriate records.
    • Coordinate reports submitted by teachers half termly
    • Monitor/edit data entries regarding student’s end of half term/end of term report.
    • Analysis of students examination report ( Yr 7 – 11) every half term
    • Provide admin support and coordinate new projects to support students achievement
    • Provide information relating to students to authorised persons as requested by the VP
    • Input student’s record on the management information system
    • File all students half term and End of Term reports and other certificates.

    Transitions:

    • Prepare detailed transcript for transitioning students
    • Provide administrative duties relating to the transition of students to colleges/sixth form.
    • Liaise with head, transitions for all matters relating to transition duties

    Information Technology:

    • Take the lead role in the development, maintenance and management of record/information systems
    • Undertake word processing using Microsoft Office software in order to produce standard letters, spreadsheets, newsletters, information and report for staff, students and parents.
    • Monitor and maintain the information system, recording and inputting class records

    Other Duties:

    • Assist in the organisation of events such as consultation day etc.
    • Record data on the system such as house points, violation code and distribute to relevant Personnel
    • Liaise with the Admission team during entrance examinations
    • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the Vice Principal Academics.
    • To oversee and organise the arrangement for mid phase admissions at KS4.

    Qualification/Requirements

    • A Bachelor' Degree from a reputable institution.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in data analytics, preferably in a school setting
    • Excellent statistical and analytical skills and be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
    • IT skills
    • Can-do attitude with excellent interpersonal skills,
    • Ability to establish excellent working relationships both within the School and with external stakeholders.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
    • Energetic, highly self-motivated and able to work efficiently and productively.
    • Professional disposition and ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Result oriented, target driven proactive and solution minded attitude

    Spanish Teacher

    Job Description

    • The teacher shall perform, in accordance with any directions which may reasonably be given to him by the Principal and Vice Principal from time to time, such particular duties as may be reasonably be assigned to him.

    Key Responsibilities and Capabilities
    The following duties shall be deemed to be included in the professional duties which a teacher may be required to perform:

    Teaching:

    • Planning, preparing and delivering lessons in Spanish
    • Teaching, according to their educational needs, the students assigned to the teacher including the setting and marking of work to be carried out by the school in the school
    • Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of students

    Other Activities:

    • Promoting the general progress and wellbeing of individual students and of any class or group of students assigned to him/her;
    • Providing professional guidance and advice to students on educational and social matters and on their further education and future careers, including information about sources of more expert advice on specific questions; making relevant records and reports;
    • Making records of and reports on the personal and social needs of students;
    • Communicating and consulting with the parents of the students when the need arises
    • Participating in meetings arranged for any of the purposes described above;

    Assessments and Reports:

    • Providing or contributing to oral and written assessments, reports and references relating to individual students and groups of students;
    • Review: Further Training and Development
    • Reviewing from time to time his/her methods of teaching and programmes of work; and
    • Participating in arrangements for his/her further training and professional development as a teacher

    Educational Method:

    • Advising and cooperating with the leadership and other teachers [or any one or more of them] on the preparation and development of courses of study, teaching materials, teaching programmes, methods of teaching and assessment;
    • Discipline, Health and Safety
    • Maintaining, good order and discipline among the students and safeguarding their health and safety both when they are authorised to be on the school premises and when they are engaged in authorized school activities elsewhere;

    Person Specification
    Essential:

    • Educational related Degree or PGDE
    • IGCSE experience in an international school teaching Spanish as a subject area
    • Not less than 3 years’ experience in teaching IGCSE curriculum
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
    • Team player
    • Energetic, highly selfmotivated and able to work efficiently and productively.
    • Result oriented, target driven proactive and solution minded attitude
    • Good role model
    • Highly principled and disciplined
    • Ability to buy into the vision and ethos of the school

    Desirable:

    • Experience in a boarding school will be an added advantage.
    • Ability to teach other foreign languages
    • Child Protection training.
