    Senior Subsea Engineer

    Job Description

    The Senior Subsea Engineer shall act as the technical authority and supervise all subsea and marine engineering projects for our client. He/she will also ensure compliance to our client's regulatory standards and guidelines for subsea work.

    Key Responsibilities

    • The Senior Subsea Engineer is responsible for the preparation of the various scopes of work for the upcoming intervention programs
    • The Senior Subsea Engineer ensures appropriate cost and planning control over the project budgets and schedules by interfacing directly with the project cost control & planning engineers
    • The Senior Subsea Engineer will provide the main interface between the ROV contractor and the client when developing the detailed procedures, equipment lists, deck plans and any other relevant requirements.
    • The Senior Subsea Engineer ensures all subsea work is in full compliance with Client and ROV Subsea Safety Management System
    • The Senior Subsea Engineer will perform the role of Client Worksite Representative offshore and ensure that the intervention contractor is provided with the correct site and site safety information

    Key Requirements

    Candidates must have following skills and experience:

    • Preferred Qualification(s): M.Sc in Subsea Engineering
    • Extensive experience in the Oil and Gas industry: subsea field architecture, IRM and topside upgrades
    • Demonstrated experience with detailed design, manufacture, testing and installation of subsea equipment.
    • Experienced with applicable industry and regulatory codes, standards, and recommended practices for HUC and subsea installation
    • Working knowledge of ROV Inspection Techniques, ROV and Diving Maintenance methodologies, including blasting, cleaning NDT techniques and repair methods
    • An extensive knowledge of rigid/flexi lay, SPM and FPSO installation and maintenance
    • Demonstrable HSE knowledge & skills in addition to the protection of assets and the environment.
    • Ability to generate operational procedures, oversee equipment and system manufacture, testing, installation and commissioning of subsea systems.
    • Demonstrated capability of working as part of a multi-functional team, including vendor management (communication, cost, schedule, MOC, etc.) and stakeholder management. Has good knowledge of economic drivers and uses this knowledge to make or influence decisions.

    Job Brief

    Responsible for providing the full range of skilled plumbing work including the installation, maintenance, inspection, modification, remodel and repair of mechanical plumbing equipment and fixtures for water, gas, oil, steam, sewage, fire sprinkler/prevention, and refrigeration related plumbing systems, to ensure a clean, safe and attractive working environment. Position makes decisions based upon sound maintenance practices.

    Duties/Responsibilities

    • Install, inspect and repair water mains, service lines, sewer lines, air and gas lines, valves, gauges, pumps and fixtures, including sinks, commodes, dishwashers and disposals.
    • Cut pipe, using threading machine, and bend pipe by hand or with pipe bending machine.
    • Assemble and install pipe and pipe fittings.
    • Join piping by means of treaded, calked, wiped, soldered, brazed, fused or cemented joints.
    • Cut or bore through walls, ceilings or partitions.
    • Test piping systems for leaks, using gauges.
    • Secure pipes to structures with clamps, brackets and hangers.
    • Unplug clogged drains, pipes and fixtures.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, sketches and job specifications.
    • Install, repair and maintain fire protection systems.
    • Prepare records and service reports of materials and time expended.

    Requirements

    • 5+ years experience in plumbing commercial, residential, and industrial projects
    • Able to read plans
    • Able to work without direct supervision
    • Able to operate mini excavator and other equipment and tools as required
    • Able to work weekends as required
    • Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills

    Maintenance Manager

    Details:

    We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Manager to oversee all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the company’s Tank Farm Operations. You will be the one to ensure that your colleagues have the best physical resources available to complete their duties according to budget. In addition, you will have a solid understanding of basic Tank Farm activities. You will be well-versed in all maintenance process and health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will also have aptitude in undertaking administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting etc.

    Duties/Responsibilities

    • Developing maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation
    • Carrying out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
    • Checking electrical and hydraulic systems of the tank farm to ensure functionality
    • Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation

    • Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
    • Ensure health and safety policies are complied with

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as maintenance manager or other managerial role
    • Experience in planning maintenance operations
    • Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
    • Ability to keep track of and report on activity
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
    • At least 7 years’ experience gained within fuel storage or terminal maintenance operations of which at least 3 of these years will have been at management or supervisory level.
    • Degree education is preferred however the right relevant experience will also be considered. 
    • Able to work in a field environment, at heights and confined spaces
    • Computer literate and must be fluent in English.
