    Key Account Manager - Switchgears & Electrical Panels

    Our client, an indigenous EPC company is currently recruiting to fill the position below:

    Responbilities

    • Business development in the O&G sector, especially amongst IOCs & EPCs.
    • Maximize contact with key accounts and other critical people at various client organizations and focus efforts to obtain new work and generation of new inquiries for the business with regard to Brand engagement of our OEM.
    • In-depth knowledge of Customer with regard to up-coming and on-going key projects in the Oil and Gas Sector. Generate Installation, Commissioning and retrofitting business in Electrical.
    • Meeting Booking and revenue targets.
    • Generate Market intelligence and paying attention to competitors and their activities within the industry and preparing strategies to counteract.
    • Ensuring company’s growth objectives are attained; articulating new business development opportunities and identifying, negotiating and managing relationships with technical partners in line with corporate goals for the Oil & Gas sector.
    • Support IS to prepare system architecture and technical and commercial proposals for reviews, and timely submission.
    • Prepare reports and presentations for management related to sales and revenue, project funnel.
    • Support panel building activities in Port Harcourt to ensure that quality of the products conforms to Specs.

    Qualifications

    • Engineering degree in Electrical / Electronics
    • Sound technical knowledge of Electrical Engineering.
    • Knowledge and understanding of the MV/LV products and services
    • Should be well versed with the Nigerian Electrical market with regard to the Oil & Gas sector.
    • Must have 8-10 years working level experience in selling Electrical Panels, Switchgears and components amongst IOC and EPCs.
    • Thorough Knowledge of Power and Control systems in Design, Configuration and generating basic SLDs and Drawings.
    • Skilled in the use of computers, adapts to new technology, learns new programs quickly.
    • Experience in third party interfaces, Industrial Networking, Safety Concepts.
    • Knowledge of Installation and Commissioning of Electrical Switchgears will be an added advantage.

    Head of Operations - Banking

    Our client, an international financial service company is currently looking to fill the position below for one of it's subsidiaries:

    Job Summary

    • The Head, Operations is responsible for driving and nurturing an environment of operational excellence and continuous process improvement.
    • Ensures all processes and transactions are executed correctly, minimizing risk and maximizing quality of service.
    • He/she identifies and maps all operational processes, measures and analyzes performance, and monitors and strengthens controls to reduce risk

    Key Responsibilities and Duties

    • Steer operational process improvement projects with full ownership and responsibility including project management and communication with all internal stakeholders
    • Identify and mitigate/eliminate existing inefficiencies, operational issues and risks
    • Implement quality assurance measures to improve business monitoring
    • Ensure effective documentation, in the form of user guides and implement operational improvements to reduce operational costs, tighten controls, improve service quality and customer service
    • Establish and review key operational risk indicators/key control standards and formulate action plans to minimize the company’s exposure to fraud and losses
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements relating to the company’s operations
    • Steer operational process improvement projects with full ownership and responsibility including project management and communication with all internal stakeholders
    • Implement quality assurance measures to improve business monitoring
    • Identify and mitigate/eliminate existing inefficiencies, operational issues and risks
    • Design and implement systems, processes and procedures to facilitate smooth functioning of the entire operations
    • Manage the company’s operational risk exposure by supporting the business to identify areas of operational risk exposure and by developing and implementing corrective action
    • Ensure that technical and operational procedures and business continuity plans are maintained regularly
    • Develop new and improved service delivery channels which meet customer’s needs
    • Implement a Management Information System (MIS) that will enable continuous tracking of the department’s performance, monitoring of customer satisfaction and provision of management reports
    • Provide team leadership and development through mentoring, manpower planning and skill set development

    Required Qualifications and Experience

    • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Business/Finance, Economics, Business Informatics, Information Management or any related course
    • Minimum of 8 -10 years experience in a Financial Service Company
    • A post graduate Degree highly desirable
    • Extensive relevant experience with reputable organizations (Banking or Fintech)

    Skills and Competency Requirements:

    • Knowledge of consumer finance procedures and policies
    • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational plans and actions
    • Good understanding of operational risk analysis
    • Strong technical and analytical skills to diagnose issues, identify trends, perform root cause analysis and articulate problem scope
    • Track record of leading multiple time-sensitive initiatives simultaneously and supporting cross-functional teams
    • Proven record of balancing risk and making sound decisions while achieving business goals
    • Good interpersonal, leadership and team management skills
    • Good project management and organizational skills
    • Passionate, self-motivated and driven
    • Innovative, ability to think outside the box.
