    Logistics Account Executive

    Details:

    Duties and Responsibilities of our ideal candidate Include:

      • Bring in new business by actively cold calling and following up on all leads provided in a timely fashion
      • Solve service problems, tracks order/delivery errors, call on accounts to resolve issues and follow up on special orders
      • Develop and maintain historical perspective on the marketplace to analyze and predict future trends and needs. Also maintains familiarity with competitor’s products and services
      • Work with the transportation department to facilitate timely customer deliveries
      • Ability to be the expert in FMCG logistics solutions in order to train and teach existing sales team
      • Additional duties as needed

      Qualifications of our ideal candidate Include:

    • 2-4 years or more of sales experience required. 1 year of Fleet management experience a plus
    • Must be able to think strategically and develop long-term plans and relationships
    • Highly organized with strong multitasking skills; able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
    • Proven success managing accounts
    • Motivation to research and provide proactive solutions
    • Strong analytic and problem solving skills
    • Understanding of Hausa language is an added advantage
    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other computer software programs as needed.

    Logistics & Operations Manger

    Details: Job Responsibilities

    • Lead day-to-day aspects of operations and logistics
    • Manage fleet of trucks from corporate logistics companies
    • Source and manage truck drivers with own trucks to put in company’s fleet
    • Perform account management and help run sales demos
    • Plan and manage logistical movement and deployments of clients goods in the different states
    • Collect and analyze data and propose solutions to optimize performance in locations
    • Identify operational and structural weaknesses and help improve existing or develop new processes to keep the organization as efficient as possible
    • Travel to different regions regularly where needed
    • Act as liaison between client, carrier and receivers
    • Identify new business opportunities and customers

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
    • 2-4 years in Operations or Logistics
    • Ability to interact well with clients and partners
    • Strong intuition for technology, both web, and mobile
    • Experience managing teams and personalities
    • Fluent in English and Hausa
    • Some project management experience
    • Previous experience working for a startup

    Accountant

    Details:

    We are looking for a qualified Accountant to handle prepare, compute, manage, research and analyze all accounting data, in order to provide quantitative information on performance, financial position, solvency, liquidity and cash flows in a logistics company.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage all accounting operations based on accounting principles
    • Prepare budget and financial forecasts
    • Publish financial statements in time
    • Conduct month-end and year-end close process
    • Collect, analyze and summarize account information
    • Compute tax and prepare tax returns, balance sheet, profit/loss statement etc
    • Develop periodic reports for management
    • Audit financial transactions and document accounting control procedures
    • Keep information confidential and secure them with random database backups
    • Keep up with financial policies, regulation and legislation

    Requirements

    • Degree in Accounting, Member of a professional body
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in FMCG or in a relevant field
    • Thorough knowledge of accounting,business analysis,sales projection,corporate finance principles and procedures
    • Excellent accounting software user
    • Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
