  • One of the strategic Agencies of the Rivers State Government helping to complement the current administration's efforts in accelerating development in the State, would like to strengthen, its project delivery capability by recruiting seasoned administrators and other professionals and has mandated SAMUELSON to identify proactive, well trained, result-oriented and IT proficient Rivers State indigenous to take up vacant position in the Organization.

    POSITIONS AND RELATED INFORMATION ARE AS FOLLOWS:

    MANAGER, ADMINISTRATION

    JOB PROFILE:
    Plan, direct and co-ordinate the administrative operations, vendor management, catering services, travels, stores and mail services

    Provision of logistics support for organization- wide functions
    Manage the agency's facilities and assets in a cost - effective manner

    Facilitate the development and implementation of effective administration policies, procedures and systems focused on facilitation operational excellence.

    EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
    Minimum of a first degree or its equivalent in Business Administration, Management Science or Actuarial Science

    Possession of an MBA, or relevant post graduate Degrees and related professional membership of lCA or its equivalent will be an advantage

    MANAGER, HEALTHY LIVING
    JOB PROFILE
    Develop, promote, implement and manage Healthy Living projects
    Oversee management and implementation of capacity building for community health an environmental sanitation Leverage established partnerships to promote Healthy Living practices in the State.

    EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
    Minimum of a first degree or its equivalent in Medicine, Public Health, Social Development or related field

    Possession of an MBA or relevant Post-Graduate degrees and related Professional qualifications will be an advantage

    WORK EXPERIENCE/ATTRIBUTES EXPECTED
    Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience, 5 of which should be in Public Health Administration, with specific experience in water and environmental sanitation.

    INTERNAL AUDITOR
    JOB PROFILE
    Oversee the Internal Audit function in the Agency

    Enforce audit policies in the Agency to ensure the integrity of the accounting procedure for the Organisation's projects and carry out special investigations on projects accounting procedures as required

    Communicate and execute changes in internal control processes approved by management.

    EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
    Minimum of a First Degree or equivalent with at least second class lower with major course work in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Business Management.
    A recognized professional Accounting I Auditing software with sound financial management background is required

    WORK EXPERIENCE/ATTRIBUTES EXPECTED
    8 years audit work experience, with at least 5 years in senior position
    Membership and certification of ISACA or related association will be a definite advantage

    HEAD, WATER AND SANITATION

    JOB PROFILE
    Liaise with the relevant State Ministries, Departments, Agencies, Communities and other Stake Holders in order to develop a Water
    and Sanitation Plan that promotes good health, water and sanitation practices. Oversee management and implementation of water and
    sanitation projects. Co-ordinate partner activities in water and environmental sanitation.

    EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
    Minimum of a first degree or its equivalent in Public Health, Civil Engineering (Water and Sanitation) Social Development or related field.
    Possession of a Post Graduate degree in Development Management I Economics will be an advantage

    WORK EXPERIENCE/ATTRIBUTES EXPECTED
    Minimum of 7 years work experience 3 of which should be in Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation


    ENTERPRISE SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR
    JOB PROFILE
    Installation, Management and Maintenance of the leT cabling I transportation network and architecture, including aesthetics
    Ensure, develop and implement IT security and data centre strategies, policies and procedures, as regards the overall network and ICT
    infrastructure

    EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
    Minimum of first degree or its equivalent in Electrical Electronics Engineering, Computer Sciences & Engineering or any related discipline. Must be a certified GSCO Network Systems Engineer.

    A Professional Certification in MCSA/MGTp, A+, Network, Computer Systems and Network Security and Administration

    WORK EXPERIENCE/ATTRIBUTES EXPECTED
    Minimum of 5 years leT Experience, with at least 3 in network management.


    NETWORK SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

    JOB PROFILE
    Installation, Management and Maintenance of ICT Infrastructure, Server Applications and Databases. Develop and implement IT security and data centre strategies, policies and procedures.

    Participate in developing strategies and plans for the management of IT systems and infrastructure

    EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
    Minimum of a first degree or its equivalent in Electrical Electronics Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering or related discipline.
    A Professional Certification in MCSE, MCSA / MCITp, A+, Network, Computer Systems and Network Security and Administration.

    WORK EXPERIENCE/ATTRIBUTES EXPECTED
    Minimum of 5 years ICT Experience, with at least 3 in server applications and the maintenance of IT infrastructure management. Must be versatile with multi- tasking attributes.

    IT SUPPORT OFFICER

    JOB PROFILE
    Assist in the management of Server Applications and Databases

    Assist in IT / IS trouble - shooting

    Assist in manning the help desk

    EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
    Minimum of a first Degree or its equivalent in Electrical Electronics Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering or related discipline.
    A Professional Certification in MCSA / MCITP, A+, Network, Computer Systems and Network Security and Administration will be an advantage

    WORK EXPERIENCE/ATTRIBUTES EXPECTED
    Minimum of 2 years ICT Experience

    Experience in manning an ICT help desk will be an advantage

    Customer service courtesy' is essential for this position

    TECHNICAL SUPPORT OFFICER
    (PROCUREMENT &. CONTRACTING)

    JOB PROFILE
    Prepare and interpret pre and post contractual technical specification
    Carry out Technical Evaluation and resolve disputes over interpretation and application of particular technical codes Prepare correspondence and reports; performs the inspections in specialized field such as electrical, structural, energy, grading, or plumbing/mechanical.

    EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
    Minimum of a first Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Quantity Survey, Architecture or related discipline.

    WORK EXPERIENCE/ATTRIBUTES EXPECTED
    Minimum of 5 years experience.

    Membership of Nigerian Society of Engineers and Council for the Regulation of Engineering plus professional work experience in
    procurement and contracting will be added advantage

    NEW BUSINESS VENTURE OFFICER

    JOB PROFILE
    Assist in the administrative, commercial and financial aspects of managing joint ventures with local and international Partners

    EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
    Minimum of a first degree or equivalent with at least second class lower with major course work in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Business Management. Ability to use recognised professional Accounting / Auditing software with sound financial
    management background is required

    WORK EXPERIENCE/ATTRIBUTES EXPECTED
    Minimum of 3 years experience in developing business plans and or Financial Consulting, Economic Research and or Project Finance
    The ability to interpret financial statements and prepare financial projections is required Membership of ACA, ACCA or CPA would be an added experience.

    HSE OFFICER

    JOB PROFILE
    Develop, promote, implement and manage QHSE best practices in the organization

    EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
    Minimum of a first degree or its equivalent in Environmental Management, Public Health or related field

    WORK EXPERIENCE/ATTRIBUTES EXPECTED
    Minimum of 3 years practical HSE experience in a reputable organization.

    LIBRARY AND DOCUMENTATION OFFICER

    JOB PROFILE
    Ensure the provision of a central database and knowledge repository for planning and development purposes

    Serve as custodian of the Organization's electronic and physical intellectual assets

    Develop and manage cost-effective library and information services

    EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
    Minimum of first degree or its equivalent in English, Library Science, Computer Science

    Related Professional Qualification and Membership will be an added advantage

    WORK EXPERIENCE/ATTRIBUTES EXPECTED
    Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional working experience in the field in Governmental or non-Governmental organisations.
