    Business Development Officer

    Job Summary

    • We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Consultant to join our team.
    • A hard-working, self-driven individual, who loves searching for solutions that improve business operations with vast experience in business consulting,.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develop business plans with the assigned accounts
    • Design and develop strategic development strategies and plans
    • Provide assistance with implementing suggested plans and strategies
    • Oversee and examine new strategy progress and development
    • Educate, lead and supervise members of the business development team to ensure project's achievement
    • Conduct complex analysis in order to find new market opportunities
    • Investigate existing products and services and compare them with competitors
    • Suggest measures for improving customer satisfaction and loyalty
    • Handle business deals operations and activities
    • Oversee the implementation of different contracts
    • Build, encourage and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders
    • Create and present detailed report for upper management
    • Identify business weaknesses and challenges and determine relevant solutions

    Requirements

    • Previous working experience as s Business Development Consultant for (5) years
    • B.Sc/HND in Business Administration or similar relevant field
    • A proven track record of providing actionable solutions
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Critical thinker and problem solver
    • Ambitious, hard-working, self-driven individual who loves searching for solutions that improve business operations.

    Overview

    • Veralyssa Limited is looking for a highly motivated, innovative, business development professional to join our team.
    • The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of building relationships in construction with a proven track record.
    • The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing relationships with clients, project managers, designers, brokers, and healthcare institutions etc.

    Responsibilities

    • Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
    • Create and expand Veralyssa’s footprint and build positive top of mind awareness.
    • Attend industry events and other meetings to stay abreast of market conditions, competition, and establish relationships with existing clients and prospects.
    • Provide ongoing progress updates on new business development activities and other key indicators to the Veralyssa management team.
    • identify business weaknesses and challenges and determine relevant solutions
    • Coordinate and assist in the proposal process with Veralyssa’s marketing and project management teams.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree / HND required
    • Business Development experience (prefer 5-7 years) in the construction and real estate industry with a successful track record of building relationships.
    • Proven ability to establish profitable relationships with decision makers at companies and organizations.
    • Outstanding presentation and relationship building skills.
    • Ability to travel as needed and bring in sales within the stipulated time given.
