Job Description:

• Supporting the School Head Teacher/Director to provide effective leadership and management of staff with the ultimate aim of providing high standards of care and education.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Train & support staff in their roles and ensure targets are met and costs are managed.
• An understanding of the Jolly Phonics will be an advantage

Requirements:

• Interested applicants must possess a minimum of National Certificates of Education (NCE) and B.Ed.
• Six year Teaching experience.
• Basic knowledge in Computer Application will be added advantage.

Job Description:

• Assessing and continuously monitoring student progress.
• Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to classes.
• Encouraging students to actively participate throughout class.
• Using a modern and dynamic teaching approach which allows students to learn better
• Researching and devising entertaining, amusing, interesting, creative, productive lessons for students.
• Assessing and recording pupils progress by setting and marking coursework and examinations.
• Participating in staff meetings and extra-curricular activities
• Undertaking pastoral and supervisory duties.

Requirements:

• B.Edu, B.Sc./BA with NCE or PGDE with at least 3 years experience of teaching English in Primary or Secondary school
