Responsibilities

• Provide manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests
• Create and revise systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record- keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
• Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques
• Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
• Meet required production target in terms of quality and quantity
• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
• Submit reports on performance and progress
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing operations. Experience in edible oil processing is desired.
• 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory capacity
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science/ Engineering or Applied Sciences is required
• Working knowledge of applicable HSE regulations
• Managerial and leadership skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
• Strong understanding of core demand management process and understanding of forecasting heuristics
• Excellent reasoning and decision making ability
• Report writing and record keeping
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Analysis and interpretation of result

Description

• We seek an experienced Machine Operator to be based in Sagamu.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
• Control and adjust machine settings
• Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
• Fix issues that might occur during the shift
• Check output for quality
• Maintain required records
• Contribute to achieving set production targets in terms of quality and quantity

Requirements

• OND in Production Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years operating a vegetable oil processing plant
• Understanding of production procedures
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
• Good organisation and coordination
• Ability to achieve set production targets in terms of quality and quantity
• Teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all software of PLC, machineries HMI, and automation devices
• Handle instrumentation issues independently
• Process automation
• Overall responsibility for OEM Spare inventory, consumption planning and control
• Plan Preventive Maintenance schedules as per OEM/as per Site Conditions and tracking performance.
• Overall responsibility for identification of improvement projects and execution
• People development.

Requirements
Qualifications:

• B.Tech/B.Eng/HND - Electronics & Instrumentation or related qualification
• Minimum 5 Years’ experience preferably in Vegetable Oil manufacturing and Bottling.

Key Competencies:

• Excellent knowledge of PLC‘S (Siemens, Allen Bradley) & should be able to modify, debugging the PLC program
• Excellent knowledge of Electrical/Electronic devices like VFD, Sensors, Displays, Micro controllers, I/P Converters etc.
• Operating knowledge of various equipment’s in Rice Industry.
• Basic Knowledge of MS Office skills is an added advantage.
• Good communication and team work skills.
