Job description

• create a stimulating, nuturing and safe environment for the children.
• supervise the children's activities at all times.
• plan and prepare meals and bottles for, and feed the children.
• dress the children and bathe them. supervise baths for older children.
• place the children down for naps and bedtime.
• change diapers.
• potty train the children.
• perform house work related to childcare, including washing and ironing the children's clothes, cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas and bedroom and washing bottles.
• teach the children good social manners.
• play with the children both indoors and outdoors.
• plan and lead educational activities, including reading with and to the children.
• administer medicine to the children..
• planning meals for the children, including snacks.
• shopping for children's requirements.
• transporting children to school and other activities..
• reinforcing appropriate discipline for the children.
• implementing daily routine.
• running errands.

• flexibility and ability to multitask.
• must be adaptable.
• must have planning organizing skills.
• must be able to tolerate stressful situations and be able to function under pressure.
• must be highly energetic.
• must be able to speak English fluently.
• experience in caring for children is an added advantage.
• must be reliable and trustworthy.

Experience

• at least 3 years working experience.
• working experience in a creche for at least 4 years is preferred.

Age

• Between 22-30 years old.
