Job Summary:

The Networking Faculty’s primary responsibility is to take care of system network and also to ensure that all the systems are connected and maintained properly.  Also to ensure that the operating systems are install properly as well.

Other responsibilities include

• You must be able to facilitate MS Office Basic.
• You must have knowledge of A+, N+.
• Experience in core networking course (MCSE) from Microsoft or (CCNA) from Cisco.
• Experience in troubleshooting LAN and WLAN network.
• Ability to make use of punch tool to configure network jack module on the wall
• Ability to use the crimping tool to crimp network cable.
• Be able to identify network tools such as crimping tool, punch tool, RJ 45 connectors and various other network tools.
• Installation of client and server operating systems.
• To be able to create a domain network and join resources to the domain.
• Be able to differentiate between a router and a switch as well as configure basic settings on them.
• Be able to configure simple IP address on a system.
• Be able to create both domain user accounts and local user account.
• Be able to differentiate between logging locally into a system and logging to the domain.
• Be able to describe and install active directory.

Qualifications:

• Must be Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching and Microsoft certified (A+, N+, CCNP, CCNA, S+, MCSE).
• Bachelor’s degree Computer Science or any related field.
• Minimum 1-3years experience working with an IT firm.
