    IT Quality Assurance Supervisor

    Details:

    Key Reporting Relationships

    Reports to: Head, System & Network Administration

    Summary

    Evaluates, tests, and validates IT systems, services and /or software. Assesses service levels and product performance to ensure they meet established quality standards. Documents issues and tracks status in designated systems. Develops or participates in the development of solutions to resolve problems.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Evaluates, tests, and validates all (internal/client-facing) IT systems, services and /or software to ensure continuous operations.
    • Assesses service levels and product performance to ensure they meet established quality standards.
    • Develops and implements quality assurance problem reporting processes and systems.
    • Analyzes deficiencies in service or performance and recommends product or service improvements to address problems.
    • Designs and implements defect reduction programs.
    • Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
    • Ensures that all other project/department milestones/goals are met.
    • Develops solutions to resolve problems and makes recommendations for improvements to process, configuration, and products.
    • Documents issues and tracks status in designated systems.

    Requirements

    • Requires bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
    • Typically requires 3+ years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
    • Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.

    IT QA Analyst (Software)

    Details:

    Summary

    Executes testing procedures to ensure that software meets established quality standards.Prepares data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows. Isolates, reproduces, and tracks defects. Verifies fixes. Documents testing according to required procedures. Familiar with software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies. May assist with the creation of new testing scripts and plans.

    Key Reporting Relationships

    Administratively Reports to: Head, System & Network Administration

    Functionally Reports to: Lead Software Developer

    Key Responsibilities

      • Evaluates, tests, and validates all (internal/client-facing) IT systems and /or software to ensure continuous operations.
      • Carries out procedures to ensure that all information system, software, apps and services meet company and client standards and end-user requirements.
      • Thoroughly tests software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.
      • Supports testing as a witness to testing requirements.
      • Reviews all documentation for completeness, accuracy, and correctness.
      • Organizes and maintains all quality assurance documentation.
      • Documents all problems (bugs/errors/defects), tracks status in designated systems,  and works to resolve them.
      • Reports progress on problem resolution to line manager.
      • Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations.
      • Performs work flow analysis and recommends quality improvements.

    • Designs and implements defect reduction programs.
    • Ensures that all other project/department milestones/goals are met.

    Requirements

    • Requires bachelor's degree in IT or related field.

    • Typically requires 2-5 years experience in Software Development

    IT Business Development Manager (Sales)

    JOB OVERVIEW:

    The job holder is responsible for improving the market position of the company & driving revenue generation in the B2B, B2C and B2B2C market space.  He/she will define long term strategic sales goals, build key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiate & close business deals while maintaining knowledge on market trends in the IT sector.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • New Business Development
    • Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
    • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
    • Research and build relationships with new clients.
    • Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’ needs, concerns & objectives
    • Participate in pricing of solution/service

    Client Retention

    • Present new products & services and enhance existing relationships
    • Work with technical staff & other internal colleagues to meet customer needs
    • Arrange & participate in internal and external debriefs
    • Ensure high customer service satisfaction levels to enhance customer loyalty
    • Ensure high level of repeated businesses from existing customer base
    • Increase market share of the organization
    • Team Management
    • Oversee & coordinate activities of the sales team
    • Set sales target for team members and monitor performance
    • Performs monthly performance appraisals for team members
    • Conduct periodic trainings to improve team members’ capabilities

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • A minimum of 5 years progressive work experience in Business to-Business & Business-to-Consumer Sales environment.
    • Experience in the IT industry, especially in the delivery of IT solutions.
    • First Degree in any discipline.
    • Additional qualification such as a Master’s degree is a plus.
    • IT proficiency.
    • Excellent Data management skills.

    BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:

    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships.
    • Strong personal network within the industry.
    • Highly driven and passionate about sales.
    • Professional sales training would be an advantage but not essential.
    • Strong leadership & team building skills.
