A leading airline travel agency located in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State requires the services of Finance Manager to head its accounts department.
Successful candidate shall report to Managing Director/CEO and will be responsible to:
- Co-ordination of accounts department
- Cash flow including cash planning and management
- Designing and ensuring implementation internal control systems
- Generation of monthly financial reports and maintaining accounting software
- Banking issues including review of bank reconciliation statement, credit facilities
- Handling tax issues and liaising with tax authorities on such tax matters as WHT, PAYE Tax, VAT and Company taxation
- 5-10 years experience in accounting function
- Strong background in finance and management, preferably a professional accounting qualification.
- Well grounded knowledge of Sage accounting applications.
- Knowledge of credit control
- Ability to work under pressure and manage other accounting staff
