Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technicians at Frama Agro-Allied Services LTD

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, Inspect, Maintain and Repair Air conditioners
• Perform regular maintenance work on cooling units
• Diagnose Electrical and Mechanical defects and malfunctions.
• Make adjustments and do calibrations of thermostatic controls.
• Clean blowers and coils, check tensions of belts and motors.
• Make plans and designs of new Air conditioning systems including their installation and maintenance.

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

• Posession of OND/ Vocational School Diploma/ WAEC Technical/ Trade Test Grade 1 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning works.
• Minimum of 3 Years of previous relevant job experience.
• Good communication skills (written and oral).
• Ability to work in a team with minimum supervision; good analytical skills and good sense of initiative.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

• Good Knowledge of the use of Vacuum pump, Refrigerant scale, Refrigerant recovery machine, Psychrometer, digital Infra-red thermometer, manifold guage, Leak detectors and Fluke meter.
• Ability to interprete circuit diagrams.
• Good knowledge of refrigerant types and compressor oils.
• Good computer Skills (MS Word; MS Excel; MS PTT)
• Knowledge of Safety Procedures and practices.
