    Business Development Manager

    Job Description

    • As we continue to grow, we need a great Business Development Manager that understands what we do and believe in the impact in Nigeria. Growth means we need to keep winning new clients (signing up and selling); from small to global enterprises and build complimentary services that sell.
    • Hence, we require individual that is excited to combine the reach of technology and the business of buying and selling a business.
    • The BDM is responsible for growing the current portfolio of both business buyers and sellers.
    • They also have the responsibility of identifying and closing opportunities for partnership and revenue generation.
    • They are responsible for finding ways to exploit new markets and bring in revenue, and/or develop new revenue streams.
    • BDMs engage primarily in sales and marketing activities and should have a solid understanding of industry trends, to inform upon strategic planning and forecasting

    Responsibilities

    • The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company
    • Create new opportunities from prospective and existing clients via telephone, email and face-to-face meetings
    • Demonstrate your ability to drive revenue growth across the business.
    • Deliver clear, engaging and effective sales pitches and presentations that demonstrate the brand.
    • Generate ideas and opportunities for raising funds for the business and revenue generation.
    • He/she should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute.
    • Maintain existing business
    • Identify market opportunities for growth and partnership and implement them.
