Foreman, Telecommunication at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA)

Duties
Successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties:

• Maintain, repair and service telecommunication switch equipment such as: Mini digital PAB system and rectify equipment;
• Maintain, repair and service telephone lines and faulty telephone sets;
• Carryout routine maintenance of cabinets, DBs and cable network;
• Install and maintain both conduit and surface piping;
• Assist in the maintenance and servicing of main PABX system;
• Troubleshoot other communication switching equipment;
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

• HND/B.Sc in Electrical/Electronic or related fields with minimum of five (5) years' experience performing similar or related role.

Competencies:

• Good Knowledge of computer hardware and software is necessary.
• Ability to work at irregular hours.
