    Drilling Rig Site OI Advisor

    Job Description

    • Provide company safety representation at rig site operations ensuring full communication of concerns, activities and initiatives.
    • Administer site orientation/induction program.
    • Monitor contractor compliance with their safety systems and procedures.
    • Provide support to the Rig Supervisors in the event of an incident with regards to reporting.
    • Provide safety related training for contractor work crews.
    • Observe SSHE drills carried out at the site and participate in de-briefing meeting.
    • Follow the safety requirement of the sites and immediately report hazardous work and non  conformances to the site lead for follow up with contractor and service partners
    • Administer Company safety awareness,  recognition and incentive programs on site.
    • Participate in investigation and follow-up of incidents/accidents.
    • Collect safety company's lessons learned and
    • communicate with company supervisors.
    • Coach and facilitate the site in execution of
    • Company programs to comply with the site safety plan.
    • Facilitate the site worker safety committees.
    • Provide early warning of potential SSHE problems.
    • Daily rig site inspections.
    • Follow up with worksite PIC’s on close out of action items from inspections, incidents, hazard hunts, etc.
    • Compile Weekly Rig Safety Report.
    • PTW/ Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) assessment and verifications at work sites.
    • Review STOP/ Hazard Identification (HID) card reporting.
    • Liaise with contractors on trends or critical issues identified.
    • Lead by example in personal and professional behavior and competence.
    • Attend weekly rig safety meetings, attend pre-job safety meetings/ JSA meetings to verify quality, thoroughness and effectiveness.
    • Relentlessly, aggressively, and proactively address any safety trends and/or safety issues that poses or could pose a risk to the workface.

    Job Requirements

    • Broad knowledge of Drilling operations/processes and safety rules and regulations
    • Good organizational and strong technical judgment skills
    • Demonstrated teamwork and communication skills
    • Demonstrated skills to positively influence drilling workforce - employees and contractors
    • Exceptional skills in MS Office suite of software programs; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
    • Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical/business communications
    • Ability to work and communicate in international locales and with diverse cultures
    • Prefer college level education or equivalent.
    • Relevant industry experience (offshore / onshore drilling activities, for example).
    • Maintains a high degree of ethical conduct.
    • Ability to work in harsh environments (examples include temperature and / or humidity extremes, remote locations with limited amenities) with changing priorities.
    • Willingness to travel / live away from home for extended time periods.
    • Must be fit for duty for a remote offshore / onshore drilling environment (examples include uneven, unpaved walking surfaces, large structures that are accessible only via ladders or stairs).
    • Activities include standing for extended time periods, climbing, bending, walking, reaching, and other physical demands.

    Rig Supervisor II

    Job Type: Contracts

    Job Nature: Rotation (4 weeks on/4 weeks off)

    Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for communicating expectations regarding safety, security, health, and environment; provides guidance and supports managing Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) events
    • Responsible for communicating Operations Integrity Management Systems (OIMS) expectations on the rig site
    • Monitors rig operations to provide feedback and input to the rig contractor to ensure well control procedures are properly followed and emergency situations are appropriately managed
    • Responsible for ensuring that safety, operational, environmental, security and other drills are conducted on site at specified frequencies
    • Responsible for ensuring drilling and completion procedures are followed as approved and utilizes management of change processes if changes are required
    • Orders and organizes logistics for services and equipment necessary to conduct drilling and completion operations efficiently
    • Supports onsite surveillance requirements for the operation in areas such as kick detection, abnormal pressure detection, torque & drag, mud properties, and solids control efficiency
    • Responsible for generation of accurate and adequate operations reports
    • Interfaces with engineering and geology to ensure understanding of well objectives and procedural requirements

    Job Requirements

    • Industry experience in rig supervisory or rig leadership roles for drilling and completion operations
    • Prior experience working for a major Operator or Drilling Contractor
    • Hold current certification for Well Control
    • This is a level 2 position: 10 to 20 years of related experience is required.

    Radar/Radio Operator

    Job Type: Contracts

    Description

    The Radar /Radio Operator will be responsible for the surveillance monitoring of the maritime situations in and around the OML 130 Field. He reports to the Maritime Security Advisor/Port Facility Security Officer/Marine Ops Manager while carrying out the following duties:

    • Maintain all round radar surveillance of the common Field 10Nm radius of the FPSO
    • Monitor the field security layout under the responsibility of the OIM/RSES
    • Observe and report the Maritime traffic situations around the field
    • Provide appropriate challenge and response for effective security interventions
    • Monitor and assign sporting sectors for effective security cover and patrols
    • Operates the radio link between the shore/air/sea and the FPSO,
    • Performs radio watch, and ensures transmittals of ingoing and outgoing messages
    • Monitor helicopter arrival/despatch operations to/from base station and metrological information
    • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the MSA/PFSO
    • Operate the surveillance radar and perform 12 hourly radar watch (2 watch system)
    • Maintain periodic radio checks with the security boats and working vessels in the field
    • Direct incoming and outgoing traffics through assigned sector of approaches
    • Maintain accurate log of Maritime situations and interventions in the field.
    • Take active part in the field security drills and exercises
    • Operates the communication equipment when required (ex: emergency),
    • Stand by radio, emission of outgoing messages, as instructed by the Marine Superintendent/MOM
    • Liaises with helicopter(s) and all field vessels’ spread,
    • Receives and communicates to the MOM and/or Marine Superintendent any incoming messages related to their area of operations,
    • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Marine Superintendent/MOM.

    • Encourage culture of HSE among team members by prompt anomaly reporting and close out.
    • Maintain continuous awareness of hazards and surroundings and propose ways of improvement.
    • Comply with office security, health and safety rules, instructions and procedures.
    • Take care of colleagues’ safety and behaviour without hesitating to intervene decisively

    Job Requirements

    • Minimum one year of experience as a radio operator
    • Radar/ARPA/AIS Training with excellent operating experience
    • GMDSS General Operators Certificate is desirable
    • CAA Radio Operators Certificate or Equivalent (VHF Air band Operator)
    • CAA Offshore Meteorological Observer Certificate or equivalent is an advantage,
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel software,
    • Good BOSIET and Medical Certificate
    • Language: English.
