An indigenous food and spice company established three decades ago and a market leader in FMCG in Nigeria seeks to recruit a Group Head - Operations to join its top-line management team. With a proven record of successful business operation in the FMCG, the company continues to be a major player in the spice and condiment market in Nigeria; having sole West African rights for McCormick & Ducros brands - the world's largest spice companies.
The Group Head - Operations will play an essential role in the organization as part of the senior management team. S/he will be directly responsible for the development and implementation of Marketing and Sales Strategies. S/he will develop and implement distribution strategies which entail handling distributors' selection criteria, database, contracting and termination among others.
This position will report to the MD/CEO. Other key responsibilities of the GHO include;
- Sales statistics
- Stock positions
- Performance of distributors
The ideal candidate should have a University degree in anyone of Economics, Accounting, Marketing, or its equivalent in Social Sciences or a relevant discipline. MBA and/or relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage.

This position will be ideal for a Nigerian national with substantial experience and exposure in Africa particularly West Africa. Accordingly, the remuneration package has been tailored to attract candidates with this profile. However, local terms and conditions will apply. The post will be based in Ikoyi, Lagos but may require periodic travel to states outside Lagos.
