    Senior Sales Manager

    Job Summary:  The successful candidate will provide business leadership support for the sales team to achieve the sales volume.  Oversees distributor management and reports to the General Manager.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Coordinate sales/marketing activities of a given region
    • Distributorship and outlet management
    • Provide supervision through field visits, observations and measurement of results of associates
    • Ensure product availability and visibility in trade through enforcement of healthy stock level in distributors warehouse and retailers stores.
    • Plan and co-ordinate information/data gathering and analysis to track brand against competition with the view to sustaining market leadership.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecast, meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
    • Deliver sales volume/value and share target at optimal cost.
    • Review Area Sales Managers and distributors performance providing adequate feedback

    Education and Experience:

    • A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, and related discipline.
    • MBA will be an added advantage.
    • At least 7 years experience in FMCG sector, out of 3 years must be at senior level position.

    Requirement & Qualifications:

    • Demonstrate strong leadership qualities in team and client management
    • Strong intrapersonal/interpersonal skills.
    • Good selling and marketing skills,
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Numerate and familiar with data analysis and reporting.
    • High level of integrity and enthusiasm.
