    Communications and KM Coordinator, Child Development Grant Programme (CD GP)

    The Coordinator will lead Communications and Knowledge Management activities across the programme using different approaches in order to influence a wide variety of government, donor, media and community stakeholders and share evidence and case studies from the programme implementation.

    Qualifications:
    Candidate must possess a unlversity degree in social sciences or communications or a related field; Substantial experience in communications. advocacy and policy development / research; good understanding of the possibilities and tactics for influencing decision and policy makers. politicians. donors. and other key actors; knowledge of the media and its role in raising awareness and shaping public policy; Experience in training others in Communications/KM techniques and influencing tactics and prior work experience in communications in Nigeria; Knowledge of the policies. functions. structures and decision-making processes of key national institutions with regard to child Nutrition and experience working with children on Health and Nutrition will be an added advantage; Slhe should possess a high degree of analytical skill and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences at local. national and international levels; ability to travel extensively in the country. including northern states (Jigawa and Zamfara especially); good computer skills (word processing. spreadsheets, emaill internet); fluent English language skills (written and verbal): Local language skills (Ability to communicate in Hausa and other local languages will be an advantage).

    State project Manager CORE group immunization project

    Details
    The CORE group Immunization project aims to contribute to the eradication of Polio in Katsina state and Nigeria by increasing Routine Immunization (RI) coverage and SIA (Supplementary Immunization activities) performance in selected high risks LGA in Katsina state. The Project Manager will provide technical leadership to all aspects of project planning and implementation and maintain and enhance the project's relationship with key partners and stakeholders including Katsina State Ministry of Health. LGA authorities. UNICEF.WHO. CDC. Katsina state Polio Emergency Operation center. and selected Local NGOs

    Qualifications:
    Minimum of a Bachelors' degree in health with 5years experience in related field or a postgraduate qualification in Public Health with a minimum of 3 years' experience in related field; essential basic clinical and public health qualifications; health programme management experience with liNGO in Nigeria; very good understanding of childhood immunizations and immunizations programming! coverage issues in Nigeria; Slhe should have effective planning and organising skills. interpersonal skills. oral and written communication skills, computer literacy skills - MS Office applications. Word, Excel. PowerPoint, Spread sheets and strong facilitation and presentation skills.
