    Warehouse Officer

    Location: Damaturu, Yobe

    Job Summary

    • The position is based in Damaturu, Yobe State and report to the Supply Chain Manager.
    • He/she will be responsible for warehouse management, monitoring of stock utilization and managing storage facilities.

    Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Ensure maximum warehouse management.
    • Implement guidelines and rules and regulations.
    • Ensure that AAH Kitlogv3 storage procedures are respected.
    • Observe the minimum stock balances to anticipate any shortages in rolling stock and report it to the Supply Chain Manager.
    • Supervise the storage conditions including pharmacy warehouse if needed.
    • Manage shipments and cargo
    • Directly supervise the process of loading and unloading, including casual worker request, attendance sheets and ensuring timely payments is made.
    • Handle team management and communication.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years professional experience in stock and warehouse management.
    • Sound knowledge of general storage procedures.
    • Good communication skills in both written and oral English and excellent in Hausa and/or Kanuri language.
    • Previous experience in similar role in an NGO set up.

    HR Facilities Assistant (Short Term)

    Job Summary

    • The position is based in Abuja, FCT and will work under the supervision of the HR Mobility Officer.
    • This is a short term role for 3 Months Only.
    • He/She will be responsible for overall office management and communication, facilitating staff movement and accommodation bookings, office supplies maintenance and providing support in organizing staff meetings and staff welfare activities.

    Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for overall office management and communication.
    • Oversee office supplies maintenance.
    • Manage the stock of stationery store in coordination with Logistics.
    • Provide support in organizing office meetings and staff welfare activities.
    • Arranging guesthouse accommodation for visiting staff in Abuja.
    • Providing monthly tracking of all flights and hotel bookings.
    • Support HR Officer and Administration Assistant in the organization's various staff welfare activities.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration or related field of study from a recognized institution.
    • Minimum of one year working experience in a similar role.
    • Strong office administration experience or front office experience in a busy environment.
    • The HR Facilities Assistant is expected to conduct all duties in a professional manner following ACF Nigeria mission staff regulations and charter.
    • Strong commitment to humanitarian work.

    Logistics Assistant - Programs

    Location: Monguno, Borno

    Job Summary

    • The position is based in Monguno, Borno State and will be supervised by the Base Logistician
    • The Logistics Assistant performs logistics activities which includes but is not limited to procurement management.

    Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Support the Base Logistician in the management of the logistics supply chain.
    • Provide logistics support to programme activities.
    • Supervise the follow-up of construction works contracts, manage suppliers while delivering goods and services.
    • Manage the safety of the Monguno base properties and supervise the Guards in Monguno.
    • Will provide general logistics support when required.

    Position Requirements

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Logistics, Procurement, Supply Chain or any other equivalent course.
    • 2 years logistics or procurement work experience.
    • IT/Excel literate
    • Highly motivated and flexible.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Previous experience working with local/international NGO.
    • Good interpersonal skills.
