    Executive Assistant

    Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer

    Job Description

    • The ideal candidate is creative, proactive, adaptive, and should have the ability to win new business, stimulate and recognize market opportunities, maintain good relationships with clients; and make repeat sales.
    • A good understanding of social and digital marketing is a plus.

    Purpose of the position

    • Off-Field is seeking a driven, outgoing and collaborative dynamic Executive Assistant to support the needs of the Chief Executive Officer and manage all administrative and office duties for Off-Field.
    • The Executive Assistant will serve as the primary point of contact for all essential matters pertaining to the CEO, and act as a liaison between the CEO and clients and staffs.
    • The selected candidate must display the ability to make executive decisions quickly, communicate effectively, and maintain professionalism.
    • The ideal candidate is creative, proactive, adaptive, and assertive.
    • Prior Executive Assistant experience or experience managing staff is preferred.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.

    Key Responsibilities & Duties

    • Enhances executive’s effectiveness by providing information and operational management support; representing the CEO to others.
    • Communicates clearly and effectively with the CEO to keep him well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities
    • Completes a wide variety of organizational support and conserves CEO’s time by reading, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications; preparing accurate and timely expense reports for travel
    • Research and compile materials needed for meetings, calls, projects, etc.
    • Maintains CEO’s appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, travel; and coordinating with meeting attendees. Maintain calendar for appointments, calls, meetings, VIP visitors, key projects and follow-up tracking
    • Majority of assigned work will be conducted during standard business hours; however, it is essential that the candidate must be available for early morning, late evening, and weekend work as required by the CEO.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) preferred; candidates with OND or other certificate in Secretarial Studies may apply.

    Work experience and skills:

    • In addition to possessing a Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND), the Executive Assistant/Office Manager must possess excellent writing, organization and communication skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • The position requires at least three years prior administrative experience but this may be waived for impressive fresh applicants.

    Other Skills:

    • Good design and presentation skills are an advantage. Also Administrative Writing Skills, Reporting Skills, Supply Management, Scheduling, Organization, Time Management, and Travel Logistics

    Purpose of the Position

    • Off-Field is seeking motivated, high energy individuals whose primary function is to stimulate and recognize market opportunities as well as maintaining good relationships with clients; and making repeat sales to our existing customers.
    • Candidate will be expected to understand and undertake business to business (B2B) and business to customer or consumer (B2C) sales.

    Key Responsibilities & Duties

    • Locate business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry.
    • Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects.
    • Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy.
    • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
    • Creating detailed proposal documents to clients and prospects.
    • Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers.
    • Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.

    Web & Mobile Application Developer

    Purpose of the Position

    • Off-Field is seeking motivated individuals who must have played lead roles in designing, building, deploying and maintaining mobile applications.
    • Candidates should be able to showcase cross platform mobile application development on IOS and Android platforms.
    • Other primary functions include design, development, support, and maintenance of websites and associated applications.
    • This individual will primarily assist with designing print and web media in order to support our business areas, promote corporate events, and create awareness of community and corporate relationships.

    Key Responsibilities & Duties

    • Provide thought leadership on mobile excellence and best practices
    • Assist with integration and usability testing
    • Have passion for Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery
    • Participate in discovery and user experience design process
    • Create prototypes, and evaluate new technologies
    • Create readable, testable, scalable and maintainable source code utilizing best practices
    • Provide technical leadership to delivery teams
    • Work with testing team to find and resolve defects
    • Provide application support with on call availability
    • Interact with vendors regarding support and integration
    • Develop tasks lists and estimations

    Academic or Trade Qualifications

    • Any equivalent combination of education and current experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position.

    Other Skills:

    • Hands-on mobile app development experience.
    • Experience integrating mobile solutions with backend services
    • Deployed applications to commercial platforms like iTunes App Store and Google Play
    • Developed native mobile iOS and Android applications using Xamarin, C# and .NET
    • Solid knowledge of mobile app development practices, along with mobile testing tools and techniques
    • Experience developing/integrating responsive Web applications
    • Experience using agile principals and methodologies
    • Deep understanding of mobile landscape (Differences in iOS v/s Android) is mandatory
    • Understanding of emerging technologies, standards and best practices for mobile development
    • Experience with hybrid mobile applications using Cordova, PhoneGap, Titanium, Appcelerator, Sencha, etc.
    • Experience using web services (HTTP, REST, SOAP) using JSON, XML
    • Familiar with JavaScript libraries, such as jQuery, Angular, React, Vue, iOS & Android SDK’s
    • Experience with source control, such as GIT, Mercurial.
    • Extensive knowledge of HTML5, CSS, PHP, JavaScript and  AJAX (added advantage)
    • Knowledge of various CMS and E-commerce websites
    • Proficient with current design and development software.
    • Excellent written and verbal skills; strong time-management and ability to multitask
    • Ability to work cooperatively in groups/teams as well as independently.
    • Ability to managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
    • A Critical thinker with high attention to detail and process improvement is preferred
    • The position is a Full-time position and is subject to a three (3) month probationary period. Contract engagement is a possibility.
