    Customer Services Associate

    Details:

    The ideal candidate should be an organized, detail, and action-oriented individual who operates with a customer-first mentality. A successful Store Service Associate is a team player who enjoys interacting with shoppers and customers, and is motivated by career potential.

    Core Responsibilities: 

    • Greets and triages customers ensuring they connect to what they want in a timely manner. Takes a customer-first approach with all interactions.
    • Ensures the front of store is welcoming
    • Consistently demonstrates professionalism and integrity with a warm and friendly demeanor to customers and teammates.
    • Technology savvy with ability to understand the broad set of Spar products.
    • Able and willing to perform operational and administrative tasks including pulling daily reports for the Store management.
    • Complies with all company and retail operational policies and procedures.
    • Completes training requirements and actively engages in team huddles and team learning.

    Requirements:

    • Generally requires of 1 -3 years of retail or related experience.
    • Qualification N.D, H.N.D, B.sc
    • Work history demonstrates effective communication, interpersonal, and team-oriented skills that strive toward world class customer experience.
    • Strong prioritization, organization, and listening skills with a personable approach and detail orientation.
    • Thrives in a fast paced, changing, high-volume environment.
    • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and variable schedule(s) as necessary.
    • Proficiency in all MS Office applications preferred.

    Chef/Cook

    Job brief

    We are looking for a skilled Cook to prepare delicious meals according to menu. You will cook dishes that will delight our customers with their taste and timely delivery.

    An excellent cook must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. They must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important.

    The goal is to help preserve and enhance our reputation so we can expand our clientele.

    Responsibilities

    • Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
    • Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
    • Cook food in various utensils or grillers
    • Check food while cooking to stir or turn
    • Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
    • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
    • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
    • Check quality of ingredients
    • Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as cook
    • Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
    • Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
    • Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
    • Ability to work in a team
    • Very good communication skills
    • Excellent physical condition and stamina
    • High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage

    Baker

    Details:

    We are seeking a talented and organized Baker. As our baker, you will prepare a variety of baked goods. You will follow existing recipes, and prepare large quantities of breads, pastries, and cakes. You will also be responsible for maintaining and cleaning all baking equipment. There will be opportunities to create new recipes as well. Responsibilities

    • Follow existing recipes.
    • Measure, weigh, and prepare ingredients.
    • Knead, roll, cut, and prepare dough as need.
    • Monitor oven temperatures, speed settings, mixing machines, and other baking equipment.
    • Ensure food surfaces and baking equipment meet all health and safety standards.
    • Clean and maintain baking equipment, utensils, and tools.
    • Monitor items during baking.
    • Decorate, glaze, apply icing, and prepare toppings for baked goods.
    • Evaluate ingredients and food for quality.
    • Operate slicing, cutting, and wrapping equipment.
    • Order and receive supplies and materials.
    • Coordinate deliveries.
    • Create new recipes.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • High school degree or equivalent.
    • Previous experience as a cook, chef, baker’s assistant, or relevant work experience.
    • Able to work early mornings, nights, and weekends.
    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
    • Physical endurance to stand for entire shift.
    • Self-motivated and self-directed.
    • Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks.
    • Physically able to move during the length of shift; able to bend and  kneel through shift; able to lift up to 25 pounds or more.
