    Team Lead, Technical Sales Specialist

    Job Description

    • Reporting to the Head TB Sales Unit, Transaction Banking, the ideal candidate will have overall responsibility for driving the sales and marketing of Transaction Banking Cash Management, Liquidity Management & Trade products to various customers and prospects in order to deepen market penetration, share of wallet of customers’ business and grow non-interest revenue.

    Specific responsibilities include:

    • Provide technical sales support to Business Units in converting trade and cash management opportunities within the target business segment.
    • Provide leadership and overall guidance and direction to team members in the execution of cash management sales activities.
    • Engage customers to determine their business needs; provide suitable cash management solutions and advisory services within the coverage area.
    • Profile and convert customers, provide of market insight for strategic and targeted marketing of customers to all Business units within area of coverage
    • Implement cost containment initiatives in the administration of OPEX and other administrative budgets for the team.

    Qualifications

    • A good First Degree in relevant discipline. Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
    • Minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant banking experience with at least five (5) years in Cash Management and Trade Product sales.
    • Excellent knowledge of cash management and international trade.
    • Strong financial modeling, quantitative and analytic skills; understanding of specialized industry issues is critical.
    • Strong Familiarity with local market and regulatory requirement is a must

    Product Manager, TB Products Development

    • Reporting to Team Lead TB Product Dev. & Mgt., the ideal candidate will be responsible for developing wide range of transaction banking products and customized client offerings to deepen the banks share of the industry and continuously review and refine product features. 

    Specific responsibilities include:

    • Adapt to market evolution; study and detecting the potential opportunities to create a new product and/or ensure the adaptation of current products.
    • Deliver strategic business intelligence report on High Net Worth to BUs for targeted marketing and monitor product performance periodically
    • Conceive products in relation with Risk, Finance, Operations, Legal and Compliance framework
    • Work with marketing team to define most suitable media plan/platform (type of media, period, frequency, etc.) to create awareness of new and existing products.
    • Periodically analyze product performance by customer segment and take appropriate action.

    Qualifications

    • A good First Degree in relevant discipline. Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
    • Minimum of five (5) years’ cognate experience in banking with significant experience in Product Management and Design
    • Strong knowledge of Transaction Banking products and related business aspects is a must

    • Ensure the availability of all TB products platforms and escalate disruptions to relevant stakeholders.
    • Liaise with billers, vendors and solution providers on all application/platform related matters
    • Interface with IT on all Transaction Banking Product platforms projects/activities
    • Respond to platform and IT related issues escalated from transaction Banking customer service help desk across the entire bank.
    • Drive the delivery of complex IT implementations and ERP integration to customer internal systems for all TB products bank-wide.

    Qualifications

    • A good First Degree in relevant numerate discipline.  An MBA or advance degree equivalent in IT, business administration, or related field will be an added advantage
    • Minimum of four (4) years’ cognate experience in the banking sector and sound knowledge of IT  driven  banking platforms
    • Good IT/technical background and understanding of banking platforms such as Finacle, Paydirect, Remita, ERP solutions and other trade platforms
    • Familiar with local market and regulatory requirement

    • Provide  First Level Support on all Transaction Banking Third party platforms/solutions for the Bank’s customers nationwide
    • Engage customers to scope platform/solution requirements in preparation for onboarding.
    • Resolve customers’ issues/complaints on the usage of deployed TB product platforms.

    Qualifications
