The Role: Inbound Logistics Analyst 
The successful candidate will be required to:
 
1.    Update and improve process documentation, streamline opportunities, and eliminate non-value added activities.
2.    Drive the development and cultivation of positive business relationships with the company's logistics suppliers and vendors; direct pricing and performance reviews in order to identify service and to manage costs Control and continuously improve operations.
3.    Provide support to other company business functions in the development of client solutions and transportation pricing requests.
4.    Drive and facilitate activities that improve coordination and communication within the organization (e.g. Client Services, Operations, Sales, Finance, HR, IT) Oversee and ensure all logistics-related operations comply with applicable environmental, health, safety, and other regulatory rules and regulations.
5.   Make useful recommendations for cost savings for more efficient and effective delivery methods, and managing the delivery process to minimize additional costs (i.e. demurrage).
6.    Develop and manage the transport/ logistics operations budget and all related fiscal.
7.    Ensure all containerised cargoes for the group are delivered cost effectively, on time and in full.
8.    Monthly engagement of shipping lines to address major issues in respect to operations.
9.    Score cards measuring unit and performance are sent out promptly and meetings are held monthly.
 
The Person: 
The Right candidate must:

• Relevant degree in Social Sciences/ Engineering.
• Knowledge of windows-based operating system, MS Office Software (word, excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• 2-3 years relevant working experience gained from a fast moving retail environment.
• Good knowledge of Port operations and Clearing activities.
• Knowledge of windows-based operating system, MS Office Software (word, excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Good knowledge of inventory management.
• Excellent planning and organizing skills.
• Self-driven and possess very high levels of energy, motivation, enthusiasm, drive and resilience.
• Strong interpersonal skills so as to effectively work with internal and external customers.
• Good analytical skills
• Strong negotiation / influencing skills

The Role: Inbound Manager
The successful candidate will be required to:

1. Drive the development and cultivation of positive business relationships with the company's logistics suppliers and vendors; direct pricing and performance reviews in order to identify service and to manage costs Control and continuously improve operations.
2. Make useful recommendations for cost savings for more efficient and effective delivery methods, and managing the delivery process to minimize additional costs (i.e. demurrage).
3. Ensure all containerised cargoes for the group are delivered cost effectively, on time and in full.
4. Monthly engagement of shipping lines to address major issues in respect to operations.
5. Score cards measuring unit and performance are sent out promptly and meetings are held monthly.
6. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with port authorities, regulatory agencies, ships agents and terminal operators.
7. Develop and agree Service Level Agreements and annual joint business plans with Customer SBUs and ensure delivery within agreed parameters for cost and service. This will include monthly KPI reporting.
8. Work with colleagues in Materials Management, factory operations and key supplier to ensure optimization of End to End supply chain.
