 Summary of Function

• Responsible for developing, sustaining and implementing polices relating to best
• practices in food production and maintain high level of hygiene in Mama Cass
• Ensure that the products and services of Mama Cass are fit for purpose and meet
• both internal and external requirements, including legal compliance and customer
• expectations
• Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the
• organization
• Setting Quality Assurance compliance objectives, writing technical and management
• systems reports
• Ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legislation
• Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures
• Implementation of environmental, health and safety standards
• Identifying relevant food safety and quality- related training needs and
• delivering training
• Assessing the product specifications of the organization and its suppliers
• Supervising technical staff in carrying out tests and checks to ensure quality
• food products

Qualifications and Preferences

• Must have a B Sc /HND Food Technology, Hospitality and Hotel Management
• Must have a minimum of 5 years cognate experience in a large food
• processing/catering company
• Must be able to lead multiple initiatives through completion
• Must be able to multi-task and simultaneously handle important tasks
• Strong numeric and analytical skills
• Must good knowledge of computer
• Good Interpersonal skills
