    Sales Engineer-Power

    Summary

    • The appointee will be directly reporting to the Head, Operations and Projects. He must be a self -managed individual with extensive technical experience in the GENCOs and/or DISCOs.
    • He/she must have a Project management and/or entrepreneurial and business development skills to drive the vision of the company and ensure Marketing efficiency and profitability

    Job Description
    Key Responsibilities Will Include:

    • Research and identify new business opportunities
    • Direct and co-ordinate activities involving sales of the company Products & Services
    • Managing and retaining existing clients and developing new channels of business
    • Job involves meeting and exceeding the company set target and increasing the company cliental database
    • Confer or consult with department head to plan advertising services and to secure information on clients needs and customer specification
    • Liaise with potential Customer regarding training, procurement, recruitment and other engineering consulting, project needs and solutions
    • Develop appropriate follow-up programs to ensure success of the proposal submitted.
    • Generate business mandates from clients.
    • Make presentations, and modifications on processes, to guarantee more efficient service delivery for maintaining client relationship
    • Any other function as may be directed by management.

    Qualifications And Experience

    • B.Sc/ B.Eng /HND (Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering or other related discipline)
    • Must possess a Strong team spirit and to relate to other cultures, values and norms.
    • Must have contacts in the power generation, distribution company
    • Must know some power company’s location and have contacts in some power companies
    • Minimum of 5 years experience with Managerial skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and tight reporting schedule.
    • Good interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in a team.
    • Integrity and transparent honesty.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Self-motivated and target oriented.
    • Ready to Travel
    • Multi-tasking capability

    Project Manager

    Job Description

    • The appointee will be directly working with the General Manager, and must be a self-managed individual with extensive technically sound experience in all aspects of the power industry, preferably, electrical electronics engineer.
    • He must have a Project management, entrepreneurial and business development skills to drive the vision of the company and ensure operational efficiency and profitability.

    Key Responsibilites

    • Source for projects
    • Direct and coordinate the marketing activities of the company’s projects.
    • Project Supervision and execution.
    • Lead the Project team with a result oriented drive, input & Manage enquiries database. Monitor and report contractual and marketing performance for the Power training Programmes.
    • Coordinating the general activities of the project team and setting up department project structure.
    • Preparations of departmental project budget
    • Assist in the recruitments and general performance appraisal of the project staff
    • Ensure Proper documentation of the departments operations and maintain technical files, manuals and logs in an accurate and timely fashion, oversees the filing system (electronic and paper) to assure integrity and company’s standards.
    • Developing project budgets, schedules, performance metrics, Proposals and execution plans; identify potential contractual/technical issues relative to Electrical Power project-execution strategy.
    • Develop appropriate follow-up programs to ensure sustainability of clients patronage

    Qualifications and Experience

    • B.Sc in Electrical Electronics Engineering
    • Candidate must possess at least 10 years of postgraduate experience in electrical electronics engineering.
    • Good Leadership qualities and a team Player. Knowledge of Project Management is an added advantage. Good with Microsoft project office suite.
    • Be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and on multiple tasks under demanding time constraints.
    • Have proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, identify and evaluate alternatives, and take appropriate course of action.
    • Exhibit high degree of professionalism, be sensitive to subject matters, and maintain confidentiality.
