    Business Development Manager

    Job Description
    About the Role:

    • The Business Development Manager will have the responsibility to create and design a startup business portfolio, create new business relationships to amplify and accelerate our overall strategy and growth in Nigeria.

    What You'll do:

    • Define and lead all of the business development activities with potential to generate extraordinary impact across the organization and ecosystem.
    • Identify and build relationships with potential deal partners, clients.
    • Pursue, evaluate, negotiate and ensure conversion of top business development opportunities in the country while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g. product development, operations, legal, etc.)
    • Review deal metrics and communicate impact to internal and external stakeholders
    • Prepare and give business reviews to our senior management team regarding progress in the business development space on a regular basis
    • Handle a high volume of engagements and the fast pace of our company

    Requirements
    What You'll need

    • A minimum of 8 years of experience oriented to business development in the tech industry, management consulting, banking, oil & gas or telecommunications experience in Nigeria - but we will consider candidates with less experience if they meet our other requirements
    • Well-rounded profile: ability to combine business, strategy, finance and legal concepts to lead complex, multi-faceted deals
    • Ability to establish, maintain and leverage effective and fruitful relationships at partner & client companies
    • Ability to understand and work together with operational teams; lead through influence, even in contexts of limited authority
    • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must
    • Fluent English is a must (spoken & written)

    • MBA from top university highly desired
    • Experience with corporate development activities
    • A wealth of high-impact relationships with business leaders across Nigeria’s leading companies (Banking, Oil & Gas, Telecoms sectors)

    Procurement Officer

    Job Description

    • To manage process of procuring high-quality and cost-efficient supplies for our organization.
    • You will follow procurement procedures, maintain an updated list of vendors, prices, and inventory of incoming purchases and supplies.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Estimating and establishing cost parameters and budgets for purchases
    • Manage contracts, understand resource needs and ensure optimization.
    • Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers
    • Making professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
    • Maintain records of purchases, pricing, terms, SLAs and other important data
    • Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
    • Relate with Logisticians across operation to understand vehicle rentals, agreed rates, SLAs and fuel top up for optimization.
    • Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts, while ensuring that the products and supplies are high quality
    • Create and maintain inventory of all incoming and current supplies
    • Maintain and update list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development.
    • Recruit & continuously manage performance of profitable vendors in all categories of our business.
    • Continuously liaise with operational locations for support in any procurement area
    • Working with team members and Procurement Manager to complete duties as needed.

    Qualifications

    • HND/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field and CIPS qualified.
    • Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems
    • 2 to 3 years previous experience as procurement officer (preferably in a telecom service sector.

    • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)

    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
    • Accurate and precise attention to detail
    • Ability to manage activities in diverse locations from a central point.
