    Marine Superintendent

    Job Description

    • Provide marine assistance for marine inland waters operations
    • Assist with all marine auditing requirements, which includes auditing of a wide range of offshore support vessels,
    • such as MODU’s and DSV and other specialist vessels, and contractors’ management systems, ensuring compliance with Company CMS
    • Assist with maintaining customer relationships with other departments as required.
    • Under the supervision of Marine Specialists, participate in supporting Drilling, Projects, Logistics, Subsea Engineers and other clients regarding operation, preparation and technical review of Call for Tender, ensuring
    • Client satisfaction. This includes monitoring of “third party” operations where Company assets are involved (for example pipeline crossings, Rig Moves near pipelines, DSV, Diving, off-loading hose replacement etc)
    • Ensure all operations under job holder’s supervision are conducted safely and within agreed SLA's.
    • Monitor and/or supervise when required port cargo handling operations to ensure compliance with Company Procedures with respect to loading or unloading vessel procedures
    • In liaison with HSE, assist in monitoring and/or supervision of supply vessel cargo tank cleaning operations to ensure efficient execution of tank cleaning
    • Assist with the development and revision of marine procedures in compliance with the Company CMS
    • Contribute to the technical evaluation and selection of contractors and ensure that technical Contractor selection is carried out in accordance with Company requirements and that safety assessment is a part of the selection process. This includes the requirement to ensure the required auditing of the Contractors SMS is carried out in accordance with Company procedures, and that Contractors working on Company sites are formally advised of appropriate site safety regulations, and, for Major Contractors, appropriate interface / contingency procedures are issued prior to offshore operations
    • Assist with annual and monthly Marine Contract Service Quality Meetings.
    • Assist with mobilisation or demobilisation of vessels commencing contracts with Company
    • Provide weekly reports and updates to DW and JV Marine Managers regarding Marine Operations at Onne Port
    • Participate in marine incident investigations occurred at Onne and follow-up of action items.
    • Monitor and propose corrective actions to Marine related anomaly reports
    • Assist DW Marine Engineer Superintendent with the management and maintenance of COMPANY owned security vessels in Onne

    Job Requirements

    • Qualifications: STCW 95 Class 2 (Deck) Certificate of Competence. DP Operators Certificate

    Planning Engineer

    Job Description
    Participate in the preparation of the operations planning to:

    • Ensure that partner entities include the lead times related to purchasing activities in their operational planning
    • Highlight any possible problems linked to C&P activities
    • Ensure the preparation, analysis, send out and up date of the C&P ongoing contracts / activities
    • planning and highlight any possible issues (forecasted workloads, award dates, lead times, etc…)
    • Ensure the preparation, analysis, send out and update of the master procurement planning and the Long Term Procurement Planning in alignment with the budget and Long Term Plan including:

    Maintenance Supervisor

    Job Description

    • Reports to the Head of Maintenance support based in Lagos.
    • Ensure proper preservation of Field Operations material warehouse area, including spare parts, capital items, and non stock material temporarily stored in the base).
    • Implement the maintenance plans approved by the Technical Administrators, propose maintenance plans updates and improvements, coordinate the replenishment of consumables necessary to ensure material preservation,

    Onne Operations Supervisor

    Job Description

    • Report to the Field Operations Material Superintendent based in Lagos.
    • Trace the spare parts received in Onne base and provide support for receipt until final acceptance in the computer management system and physically in stock.
    • Follow-up and controls the materials movements to suit the requirements expressed by the offshore FPSO teams or the onshore based support team and coordinated by the Logistics supervisors. Ensures delivery in time and as required
    • Coordinate with the logistics and warehouse teams as well as with the contractor staff for that purpose.
    • Ensure that the equipment or the means of transportation are in accordance with the HSE standard and rules. It includes the control of dangerous goods, food containers, chemicals, lifting means, wastes, etc…
    • Responsible to inspect the food containers, report anomalies, and prevent transportation offshore of rotten food offshore.
    • Control the materials returning from offshore and ensures compliance with environment rules, in particular with regard to waste disposal.
    • Ensure the storage conditions are in accordance with the technical requirements specified by the end user. Controls the maintenance operations required to ensure the items preservation. Perform a variety of function to ensure proper preservation of spare parts and materials at the warehouse and during transit to operational site

    Process Engineer

    Job Description

    • Following day-to-day progress of engineering activities (basic and detailed) related to Process/Operation Coordination discipline by basic and EPSCC contractor and LLIs contractor.
    • Ensuring close coordination with other disciplines (in particular process control/instrumentation and safety) to avoid discrepancies and documentation recycling.

    Manager, Maintenance Operations

    Job Description

    • Responsible for the Technical content of the Maintenance Methods in the field of Mechanical Rotating Machinery, including the responsibility for maintenance plans, spare parts coverage, working techniques and procedures, in accordance with the Maintenance Policy.
    • Revise the maintenance plans prepared by the various Contractors, and ensure their proper implementation.
    • Coordinate with the Methods Department the consolidation of the Maintenance Plans.

    • Provide technical expertise in view of timely and efficiently address the failures and losses of performance of equipment.
    • Analyze the equipment performances, perform technical studies, provide technical support on any technical queries, make proposals for improvement and optimization.

    • Ensure the operations under own authority are prepared and performed in accordance with Company rules, procedures and specifications, and in full compliance with the HSE standards
    • Responsible for the mobilisation, the coordination, the logistic arrangements, of the external resources (vendors, contractors, means, etc…) required for the operations in own field of competence (mechanical). Includes initiation of call off, or service order, definition of scope of work, work performance follow-up, control/acceptance of deliverables, and any other duty until satisfactory completion of the required service.
    • Ensure professionalism and competence of selected contractors, initiate or participate to audits for that purpose
    • Contribute to the technical administration of Contracts (FMC, MTMC, CMOC, etc…), control performance, and follow-up call-offs as required.
    • Provide technical assistance of whatever nature to site operational staff, in accordance with the operational requirements.
    • Participate to budget preparation, contribute to cost control of operations under own technical authority.

    Technician, Wells Data Management

    Job Description

    • Prepares formats, procedures and data for electronic data exchanges and vending with competitors and partners
    • Will be considered as one of the references for the geological data in the GADAMA Project
    • Perform QC and format the data for loading into the databases (FINDER, LogDB and Esearch), ensure proper data extractions.

    Well Equipment Inspector

    Job Description
    Within a team work context:

    • Ensure that all Company owned Deepwater Wellbore Drilling and Subsea Completion Equipment is received into storage, tested, and/or mobilised in line with approved QA/QC procedures
    • Ensure that all tasks are performed within approved Company approved or mandated Health and Safety Guidelines
    • Ensure that Completion Subassemblies are made-up, tested, managed and stored in line with approved processes, procedures and relevant Company rules
    • Ensure that all materials and equipment required for deepwater well completion, within its purview and located in contractors base, are loaded out to the rig in a timely manner
    • Ensure that equipment returned from the rig are inspected and returned to stock in line with approved standard QA/QC procedures and industry best practices
    • Ensure appropriate documentation and certification provided by Contractor for all equipment to be stored or mobilized for company use, in line with best QA/QC practice, and Company procedures
    • Prepare operations programs for equipment preparation
    • Produce the technical and operational synthesis

    In close liaison with Well Equipment Inspection Superintendent and DW DCD Engineering Teams:

    • Ensure Company and Contractor procedures are in place and fully updated prior to commencing any activity.
    • Ensure Contractor’s personnel are fully aware of the content / aim / requirement of the activity
    • Ensure Contractor’s tools, necessary for the works (thread gauges, pressure test equipment, bucking unit, drift, OD & ID caliper…), are in good working order and calibrated
    • Witness / monitor equipment and subassembly inspection & testing activities at Contractor’s facility (e.g. Halliburton, Baker, Schlumberger, Ciscon ,Weatherford, OAL …) on single items Ensure that testing of equipment / subassemblies are performed in line with procedures that have been fully approved by the Engineering team.
    • Ensure that the equipment/subassembly storage and transportation conditions are in line with standard industry practices.
    • Ensure that Completion Equipment is tested and ready for load-out in line with rig superintendent lookahead.
    • Ensure all QC documentations are fully completely filled up and approved prior to equipment dispatch to the rig.
    • Ensure that all equipment / subassemblies returned from the rig are received into storage in line with approved procedures and industry best practices
    • Confirm with Superintendent whether returned sub assemblies require breakout and if so the required process to be followed
    • Monitor and follow up all local fabrications, ensuring that the fabrication and subsequent testing are in line with industry standards and relevant Company rules.
    • Perform pre-mobilization inspection of equipment and tools (including radioactive sources and explosives)
    • Perform equipment / subassembly failure investigation as may be required
    • Conduct System Integration tests as required by heirarchy
    • Assist in the annual (or semi-annual) audit of all Drilling and Completion sub contractors
    • Provide required assistance to well intervention for equipment preparation and make-up
    • Report all anomalies and Non-conformances in the equipment / process / procedures to the Well inspection leader and maintain / update a non-conformance report register / database at all times.
    • Follow-up all raised non-conformances until closure
    • Ensure that required completion equipment / subassemblies are loaded out to the rig on time.
    • Stand in for the QA/QC superintendent, as required by Hierarchy

    Job Requirements

    • Initial formal education: Higher National Diploma - HND / or its Equivalent
    • Professional experience (number of years): 7 years minimum
    • Other (prior experience desirable): Offshore Completion Supervisor, Completion Equipment QA/QC Inspector, prior demonstrable experience with Halliburton and/or Schlumberger subsea completion equipment will be an advantage.
