    The Water Subsidiary based in Lagos is recruiting for the following positions:

    Senior Sales Manager

    Job Summary:  The successful candidate will coordinate company’s field sales team in achieving volume target and growing market share.  Job holder formulates and implements the sales strategy/plans, optimizes sales policies and procedures, performs budget planning and management of sales cost.  S/he provides support to the sales team through coaching and training and reports to the Sales Director.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Develop Sales & Marketing Plans and performs market forecast
    • Job holder maintains Sales System/Route-to- Market Management and product leadership
    • Coordinate Vendor Managed Inventory and keeps accurate records of all categories of vendors and their various Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
    • Generates sales and allied policies in conjunction with the Legal team
    • Rewards Management - tracks the performance of both the Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and Distributor’s and rewards accordingly
    • Checks on depots and ensures regular product availability and ensures that all stakeholders operate within the ambit of the contractual agreement.
    • Distributors/Retailers Management - makes regular follow-ups on the Distributors and Retailers and ensures healthy product stock level.
    • Job holder will attend to customers’ and end-users complaints promptly.
    • Conduct periodic survey and collects market information on product demand, performance, competitor’s products, and customers’ demand.
    • Prepares and executes the approved Sales budget ensures good Return on Investment (ROI). 

    Education and Experience:

    • A degree in Business Administration, Marketing and related discipline.
    • MBA will be an added advantage.
    • 7 years of cogent sales experience; out of which 3 years must be at senior level within the manufacturing industry.

    Requirement & Qualifications:

    • Strong intrapersonal/interpersonal skills.
    • Good selling and marketing skills,
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Numerate and familiar with data analysis and reporting.
    • Demonstrate strong leadership qualities in team and client management
    • High level of integrity and enthusiasm.

    Area Sales Manager

    Job Summary:  The Area Sales Manager coordinates field sales operations of an assigned geographical area to grow the sales market shares.    Job holder will be responsible for overseeing the area sales, ensures daily/monthly/yearly volume target are promptly achieved. Job Holder implements the sales strategy/plans, optimizes sales policies and procedures, monitors the various demands and competitors’ activities and provides feedback to the Unit.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Monthly Sales Target & Distributors Management
    • Maintains the existing customers and expands customer
    • Distributors’  and  Transporters Support
    • Interface with the Distributors, Retailers and Consumers.
    • Quarterly Surveys/ Reports
    • Regular Target Achievement
    • Develops strategies in keeping up to date with products and competitors.
    • Compares month to month sales performance to bridge any identified sales gaps.

    Education and Experience:

    • A  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing and related discipline.
    • An MBA will be an added advantage.
    • 5-7 years of cogent sales experience within the manufacturing industry.

    Requirement & Qualifications:

    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Good selling and marketing skills,
    • Good written and verbal communication skills.
    • Numerate and familiar with data analysis and reporting.

    Facility/Plant Engineer

     

    Job Summary: The Facility/Plant Engineer provides overall technical leadership necessary to ensure high productivity and high equipment reliability.  Plan, prepare, Present and deploy annual maintenance activities.

     Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Installation of equipment and machine parts
    • Review and monitor the implementation of preventive maintenance programs
    • Achieving minimal machine downtimes
    • Draw up periodic maintenance plan.
    • Improve operational efficiencies at a reduced cost
    • Develop and deploy relevant KPI’s to manage Engineering activities/operation

    Education and Experience:

    • 8 years of cogent experience of water treatment process/equipment maintenance and bottling line operations of which 3 must be in a middle level management cadre preferably in FMCG industry.
    • Lead and effective management of performance of associates/team members, train and develop their technical skills.                

    Requirement & Qualifications: 

    • HND, Bachelor Degree or its equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
    • Conversant with/practical knowledge of FSMS, QS environments, GMP, GHK, HSE, in a Manufacturing organisation
    • Sound knowledge of process improvement tools, TPM, 5S, KAIZEN, PM.                                        
    • Highly analytical, result oriented, effective verbal/written communication and proven leadership management skills 
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision

    Truck Driver

     

    Job Summary:  Distribute products to clients on assigned routes on a daily basis. Take inventory of product quantity delivered. Ensures truck is always clean and in good working condition.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Load  and distribute products to Dealers on time
    • Comply with all applicable traffic laws
    • Route planning and mapping
    • Maintain movement log
    • Take orders for new supplies
    • Inspect truck before and after routing, and record any defects
    • Escalate serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel

    Education and Experience:

    • Minimum of SSCE
    • 6 years of driving experience preferably in FMCG industry
    • Valid Drivers’ License and other relevant documents

    Requirement & Qualifications:

    • Good knowledge of road network
    • Good eyesight and ability to drive of hours
    • Defensive driving skills
