    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Provide useful insights for decisions regarding financial information and execution.
    • Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
    • Summarise current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
    • Document financial transactions by entering account information.
    • Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
    • Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
    • Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
    • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
    • Secure financial information by completing data base backups.
    • Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
    • Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
    • Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
    • Any other duties as assigned by management

    Requirements

    • Minimum of a first degree in Accounting or Finance and MBA or Masters in a related discipline
    • Minimum 5 years work experience in Accounting in the Oil & Gas Sector
    • Relevant accounting certification –ACCA, ICAN, CFA
    • In-depth knowledge of relevant Accounting Standards and related regulations.

    Human Resources Lead

    Job Description

    • The Head of HR will provide strategic leadership for the HR function, articulating people management policies and overseeing their execution.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Develop the Human Resources department
    • Develop an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.
    • Implement human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation,etc
    • Keep abreast of relevant legislative, regulatory and environmental changes to ensure that the business remains compliant
    • Facilitate the definition of the corporate culture and underlying values for the business
    • Develop and maintain a competitive and merit based compensation system to support the companys reward philosophy as well as its talent attraction and retention strategies
    • Review the outputs from the periodic performance reviews, report and advise leadership on their implications for operational performance, succession management and employee engagement
    • Liaise with the Heads of Departments to design and implement staff training and development strategies that will ensure identified needs are addressed with suitable training interventions
    • Direct and motivate HR function staff in delivering the people management mandate in line with key deliverables specified in service level agreements (SLAs)
    • Agree critical HR information requirements with Heads of Departments and oversee the generation of the appropriate information outputs to meet them
    • Coordinate proper documentation of HR documents including employee records and HR manuals
    • Facilitate the adoption of a strategic approach to exit management and oversee the establishment of the appropriate processes and practices
    • Review  and make recommendations on compensation strategies for alignment with employee performance, company objectives, industry and market trends and legal requirements

    Requirements

    • Minimum of a first degree in Human Resources or related discipline
    • MBA or Masters in Human Resources or related discipline
    • Minimum 10 years work experience in Human Resources in the Oil & Gas Sector with 5 years in a Senior Management role
    • Professional Certifications and/or membership of the Chartered institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) and/or Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD), and or HR Certification Institute( HRCI)
