    Social Media Specialist (Executive Trainee)

    Job Description

    • Do you love social media? Can you write a great headline? Are you a trendsetter and data nerd all at once? Do you consume digital content with a voracious appetite? Then we are looking for you for a client in the banking sector.

    Role/Responsibilities

    • The goal is to gradually achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap.
    • Social media specialists should have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels.
    • You are responsible for Creating and joining relevant conversations on behalf of the brand.

    The Social Media Specialists will:

    • Be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of social media campaigns.
    • Curate, create, and write social media posts that drive engagement.
    • Maintain and update social media content calendars.
    • Community management and engagement across all social channels.
    • Pitch social-first story and video ideas with viral potential.
    • Monitor key metrics to make data informed decisions.
    • Collaborate with content, design, and video teams to produce content for social channels.
    • Assist in maintaining the consistency of brand messaging and voice across all social media platforms.

    Requirements

    • Proven 1- 2 years working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist
    • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
    • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
    • Adequate knowledge of web development, CRO and SEO
    • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
    • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
    • B.Sc (Second class Upper ) in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, Computer Science or Related fields.

    Job Description

    • Supporting the Business Centre Manager in the running of the Lagos office ( liaising with suppliers and vendors)
    • Supporting the sales teams with admin and invoicing
    • Achieving – if not exceeding – performance targets
    • Ensuring all compliance targets are fully met
    • Handle projects as they are assigned

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 2.2 B.Sc
    • PC and MS office conversant
