    Legal Officer

    Roles:

    The Candidate who must possess strong legal background with credible evidence will report to the Head, Legal Department and shall be responsible for the following:

    • To provide qualitative and astute legal advisory services in relation to the Organization and its business environment. 
    • Carrying out research on legal issues for the Head, Legal services. 
    • Preparing initial drafts of legal documentations and correspondence for the review of the Head, legal Services. 
    • Interface with External Solicitors engaged to provide adjunct legal services to the company. 
    • Preparing presentations for Head, legal Services. 
    • Perform other corporate services and any other duties that may be assigned by the Head, Legal Services and any other Member of the Senior Management.
    • Assist in circulating Board Papersto Directors within reasonable time. 
    • Review and vet letters, agreements, security and other legal documents. 
    • Must be hands-on in interpretation and application of legal texts and statutes. 
    • Ability to handle pressure and work with minimum or no supervision. 

    Requirements: 

    • LLB, BL with a minimum of second class Lower division. 
    • 3-4 years post call and NYSC relevant experience 
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills 
    • Strong team player and good organizational skills 
    • Ability to take responsibility and demonstrate high level of integrity with all stake holders. 
    • Logical and ability to Multi task. 
    • Analytical and lateral thinking skill

    Operational Risk Analyst/Officer

    Roles:

    • The Candidate who must possess strong knowledge of quantitative or financial analysis should have good computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Access and shall be responsible for the following: 
    • Carry out risk assessment on proposed Business Process Changes (e.g. new/significantly modified product) 
    • Manage Operational Risk Events Process, 
    • Carry out diagnostic work on Operational risk events and issue recommendations- , 
    • Develop, monitor and report Key ~i~k Indicators 
    • Carry out Fraud Risk Assessment at least on an annual basis 
    • Develop/improve information/metrics/reporting to-risk committee 
    • Attend due diligence meetings to "discuss risk processes with sector participants. 
    • Assist where required with the compliance monitoring plan. 
    • Assist with the review and development of Policies and Procedures. 
    • Assist the Head of Enterprise Risk and Compliance in all areas of 
    • compliance where required and with Risk and Compliance systematic reviews. 
    • Develop and enhance the risk framework, analysis tools and risk reporting and assist in development of risk analysis and reporting. 
    • Develop Risk and Control Assessments and Internal Control Monitoring Plans to a high standard and assist with the maintenance and update of the RCSA. 
    • Participate in the escalation and reporting of operational risk incidents. 
    • Follow up and coordinate when needed the implementation of action plans (at least Incidents linked to iT matters) 
    • Conduct Risk Assessment to identify the main risk on critical business resources (IT, HR, etc.) 
    • Conduct Business Impact Analysis in order to assess potential impacts of the entity businesses disruption and share the result with the Head of ERM.
    • Work with BCP Correspondents.to identify critical business areas and requirements, and define business continuity strategies for responding to the local threats identified. 
    • Provide guidance to BCP correspondents to write and update their Business Continuity and Crisis Management documents. 
    • Follow up changes in' businesses, operating organization and 
    • requirements and update the BCP documents as required. liaise with Disaster Recovery Manager to define recovery perimeters and strategies for responding to business continuity requirements. 
    • Work with BCP Committee to prepare and execute the BCP test and Call out. 
    • Report to the Head of ERM on a semi-annually basis the level of compliance with the Business Continuity Management standards. 
    • Follow the relationship with key BCP service providers, security officers 

    Qualifications/Experience: 

    • Candidates should have at least 3-4 years post NYSC experience within financial analysis or modeling and solid knowledge of techniques and tools in operational risk management. 
    • Preferred candidate should have at least BSc. or Masters in Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Statistics or Accounting 
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills 
    • Strong team player and good organizational skills 
    • Quantitative and data managements skills 
    • Advanced Microsoft excel, power point and word skills 
    • Experience with risk appetites-risk reporting capabilities, models and analytics.
