    Learning and Development Officer

    Job Type: This is Six Months contract position

    Job Summary

    • Work with the Head of L&D Manager to define, design and implement learning and development programs and tools that sustain necessary behavioral changes: training, organization development, and change interventions, coaching, mentoring, managing people, etc

    Job Description

    • Identify training /skills/competency needs within respective populations
    • Plan and develop training and development calendar/plan for respective populations in the organization
    • Evaluate needs of the organization and develop, implement, and monitor training programs within the organization
    • Create and implement testing and evaluation processes for training interventions and develop reports that feed into the Performance Manager’s reports
    • Provide logistical support, course development, production of materials, delivery, evaluation, process measurements, and cost management for training programs
    • Keep records and document training indices– hours, numbers, programs, suppliers, locations, budget, trends, evaluations, etc. and provide period reporting as required
    • Liaise with and follow up with internal trainers facilitators for in-house training programs and provide content and logistics support for any member of this faculty
    • Build and maintain a close relationship with the Technical Training team and provide support, data and assistance, when required.
    • Deliver generic workshops and programs for pockets of population

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline
    • Minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience in related role
    • Experience with working with training providers and handling related service
    • Passion and focus on results and people development
