    IT Associate

    The IT Associate will ensure the provision of superior customer service throughout the business, through the maintenance, enhancement and efficient operation of IT functions. Additionally, the role will include responsibility for ensuring the security and integrity of IT operations and systems.

    As the first point of IT Support contact for all the companies; staff, you would be responsible for the configuration, set-up and management of all PC hardware, software, smartphones and tablets, as well as any associated peripherals.

    You would also be responsible for the deployment of computers and associated peripherals including new installations and redeployment of existing equipment.
    The flexibility to work outside normal business hours is integral to this role, as the is the ability to work under broad direction and minimal supervision.

    The ideal candidate would be a technical IT professional who is a problem solver, and can demonstrate the “can-do” attitude. We are not looking for just someone who can work systematically but can also demonstrate the ability to "think outside of the box" ensuring that the technology used throughout the organisaton is running seamlessly
     
    RESPONSIBILITIES
     
    The role holder will work collaboratively within the IT Team to achieve the following:

    • Provide first point of IT Support contact for all The organisation’s staff, covering all PC hardware, software, smartphones and tablets, as well as any associated peripherals.
    • Deploy computers and associated peripherals including new installations and redeployment of existing equipment.
    • Install and configure operating systems and software to agreed standards under the direction of the IT Manager and other immediate supervisors.
    • Maintain existing equipment to standards determined by the IT Manager, by performing upgrades, new installations and carrying out routine procedures.
    • Assist in the compilation and maintenance of an accurate inventory of hardware and software, and ensuring that records are kept up-to-date within the service desk system.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues to resolution and/or escalate to colleagues, suppliers or partner organizations as required.
    • Log all incidents and service requests in the organization’s’ designated service desk system, where necessary login on behalf of The organisation’s staff
    • Manage service desk tickets, planning and prioritizing systematically to minimize backlog and ensure operational efficiency.
    • Ensure system and data security is maintained at a high standard, ensuring the integrity of the organisation’s network is not compromised.
    • Expedite the repair of hardware faults and software configuration problems, notifying or forwarding to the relevant suppliers in a timely manner.
    • Work with colleagues to monitor performance of the organisationsi systems, ensuring that issues are appropriately escalated and resolved.
    • Provide technical assistance to project teams and undertake technical project roles when required.
    • Demonstrate commitment to and promotion of a culture of service excellence and continual improvement within the IT Department.
    • Maintain and develop excellent working relationships with key suppliers, conducting dealings in a professional and appropriate manner.
    • Provide at all times a professional, courteous and rapid response to individual users

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • First degree in Information Technology or a similar discipline
    • Self-motivated and result driven with high integrity and adaptable to a fast-changing work environment.
    • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
    • Exceptional self-confidence and interpersonal skills, and experience in cross-cultural team work within a fast-paced environment
    • Must be highly driven, organized and a great team player
    • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills
    • Planning and organizing skills
    • Able to operate with minimal supervision
    • Able to manage time effectively and set priorities appropriately
    • Troubleshoot issues in all our academies as assigned by supervisor
    • Excellent technical knowledge of PC/Mac hardware
    • Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems and standards
    • Software and hardware troubleshooting
    • Windows desktop (7/8/10) experience
    • Microsoft Office 2010/2013 support
    • Active Directory administration TCP/IP
    • Experience working and training on a variety of IT subjects and applications

    Legal Associate

    On their behalf, we are currently recruiting for an Entry level Legal Associate will be responsible for drafting various documents and agreements including legal opinions, leases, purchase agreements and other conveyance documents for the real estate transactions.
    As the Legal Associate, you will also draft various policies, procedures, business and legal correspondence to various stakeholders both internal and external.
     
    The ideal candidate would be someone who can demonstrate due diligence and a high level of accuracy who can Track the real estate transactions through various stages from due diligence through to close/registration as well as stay abreast of the industry by researching and review government instructions, laws, rules and regulations.

    OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

    • Archive and current paper and electronic document management
    • Review laws and regulations to ensure compliance
    • Complete various legal tasks, special projects and duties as assigned

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • LLB or any other relevant tertiary qualification suited for the position with demonstrated work experience
    • At least one (1) year full time work experience in the area of real estate transactions
    • Real estate transactions and drafting experience
    • Strong drafting skills
    • Strong planning and organizational skills, attention to detail, efficient worker and able to multi-task
    • Outstanding interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to complete legal forms, conduct legal research of laws, draft policies and business correspondence
    • Excellent legal and factual research skills including online sources
    • Ability to research, read, analyze, and interpret governmental instructions, laws, rules and regulations
    • Ability to work well under pressure, as a team member and without supervision in a fast-paced work environment
    • Strong proficiency in technology including the Internet, Email, Microsoft Office applications especially in Word, Excel, and Adobe
    • High energy and enthusiasm and willing to do whatever necessary to get the job done
    • Upholds confidentiality and ethical standards of the legal profession

    Real Estate Associate

    They are currently looking for a Real Estate Associate to join their development team. The Real Estate Associate is responsible for the acquisition of land where their buildings will be constructed. In this role, you must negotiate deals, secure viable plots and complete paperwork for land acquisition to effectively close deals on land acquisition.

    From inception to completion you will be responsible for the full and complete acquisition of land which each establishment will be constructed. Using the GIS technology, you will identify and source for plots within the given target circles.

    The ideal candidate would have experience vetting and completing the documents required for land acquisition and leasing in Nigeria, including land searches, relevant maps, rates, rents and taxes, succession procedures etc.

    You would also be in-charge on ensuring proper due diligence is carried out in line and accordance with Nigerian land policies and the existing land regimes/tenure systems.
    As a strong negotiator, you would have a high level of experience in price negotiations and stream line the process in accordance with the laid-out policies of the organisation
     
    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • Minimum of 1 year(s) of experience in a similar sales, business development or client facing role.
    • Excellent negotiation skills - demonstrate the ability to sell corporate objectives and close deals
    • Methodical approach to work and organisation
    • Experience in Real Estate transactions an asset
    • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills
